A video of Donald Trump giving a mother of three a $100 bill at the Sprankles Neighborhood Market in Kittanning has gone viral on the internet.

Trump greeted shoppers and can be seen handing the woman a $100 bill while saying,

"Here, it's going to go down a little bit. It just went down 100 bucks."

When the woman responded by saying "Thank you so much", the former president while waving goodbye said,

"We'll do that for you from the White House, alright?"

Trump also bought a large bag of popcorn at the supermarket, when another shopper quipped in saying that his mother just got the same bag of popcorn and that she says "it's the best", to which Trump said that he will be in Washington D.C, "hopefully in the Oval Office" and will send for popcorn.

After a video of the interaction was posted on X by @notcapnamerica, some users found it inappopriate for an Presidential candidate to be handing money to people.

While others believed that a $100 bill is not harmful.

Others compared Trump with Kamala Harris, who allegedly has also used "election bribery" techniques on voters.

Netizens defended Donald Trump, noting that he had not brought up conversations around voting, or asked the shoppers who they plan to vote while handing out the money,

"So free 25k for homes is fine, free college is fine, but helping a struggling mom pay her groceries is a crime? Give me a break. He is helping people and you are mad about it? The hate for Trump blinds you." - another user noted
"Wait....what do you call paying off student loans of American's just to try and gain votes? How is this any different?" - another user commented
"I watched the entire clip and he's not handing out cash to voters he literally just helped to pay for a lady's groceries. Harris has given the illegals up to 75k each to stay til Nov vote then go home. It's why they're not focused on housing them. Yall focus on petty shyt" - another user quipped
“An exchange or “offer” was not made as no promise of a vote was given and no promise of a vote was asked for, therefore, this does not meet the legal definition of a bribe." - another user commented

Donald Trump discusses inflation with supermarket owner

During Donald Trump's latest visit to the Sprankles Neighborhood Market in Kittanning, he spoke to the owner of the grocery store who opened up about how inflation has affected his business.

When Donald Trump asked how the grocery store competes with the big stores, the owner explained that every year they have made profit, except for the last three years because of inflation.

However, they had to get "super creative' on how to use the store space. The owner also gave credit to his crew, staff and family to help him keep his store afloat.
