Record producer DJ Khaled was seen crowd surfing during Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff on September 28, 2024.

He joined rapper Fat Joe on the show to energize the audience and discuss college football with the hosts. However, following their conversation, Khaled impulsively decided to crowd surf.

He ensured that the people in the crowd were ready to catch him, then sprinted toward the anxious group, who were unsure if they could keep him up. Soon the video clip of him crowd-surfing went viral, netizens hilariously reacted with their comments. One X user wrote:

“He definitely snapped some knees.”

Internet users seemed to body-shame him in their comments, expressing disbelief that he wasn't dropped.

“Me shocked they didn’t drop him,” a person wrote.
“Buddy jumped an inch off the ground lmaoooo,” another X user commented.
“The heaviest crowd surf of all time,” a netizen reacted.

X users remarked that the crowd members might end up with sore backs. On the flip side, many netizens seemed thrilled to witness his crowd surfing.

“There backs have to be hurting,” an online user wrote.
“This was the best thing I’ve ever seen. Thank you @djkhaled !” a person commented.
“They hurry up and brought his a*s down,” another X user reacted.
“he couldn't even get over the guard rail without help!!” a netizen wrote.

As per a MARCA report from September 28, 2024, Big Noon Kickoff had the largest crowd in its five-year history.

The record crowd might be attributed to two factors, the popularity of DJ Khaled and Fat Joe and their performances and secondly, Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes consistently draw large crowds wherever they play.

DJ Khaled once mentioned that he didn’t want to rush his weight loss journey

DJ Khaled was a social media brand ambassador for Weight Watchers, a company that offers weight loss and maintenance. During an interview with Hip Hollywood in 2018, he talked about how special it was for him.

“Man, so special because I am doing it for my son Asahd. I am doing it for my family and obviously I am doing it for my myself. To eat healthy is always great, feel great but I wanted to find a program where I can really do and be a lifestyle," DJ Khaled said.

He continued:

"Because you know in the last three years I have been doing like this, when I get rid of my weight so now it’s like this is like a point system. All I gotta do is not go over my point system.”

DJ Khaled explained that he has access to many low-calorie foods, such as fruit, fish, skinless chicken, and eggs, which he can enjoy without counting points. For instance, he mentioned having a lunch that totaled eight points, leaving him with 32 points.

He emphasized that he wasn’t in a hurry to lose weight, noting that he preferred focusing on winning rather than the concept of losing weight and saw himself maintaining this lifestyle long-term.

DJ Khaled's most recent album, God Did, was released in 2022 and garnered five Grammy nominations.

Since then, he has been making appearances all over pop culture, including a collaboration with Fat Joe and Anitta for the song Paradise.
