50 Cent took to Instagram on Tuesday to address his accuser's lawyer, Gloria Allred, referring to her as an “ambulance chaser.” His post comes on the heels of him being accused of ordering an assault on a photographer.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has been dealing with an assault lawsuit that stems from an incident that allegedly took place outside The Grove in LA on September 11, 2024, TMZ has reported. Guadalupe De Los Santos is alleging that the rapper ordered his associates to rough him up. Attorney Gloria Allred is representing him.
All we know about the lawsuit against 50 Cent so far
In his post on Instagram, 50 Cent uploaded a photo of himself smiling and greeting the lawyer, while the caption read:
“The moment I realized I don’t like lawyers, Gloria you should know better, chase a different ambulance.”
In a separate post, he added:
“Gloria you’re not gonna get any money from me that way, but if you call me I’ll take you to dinner. LOL”
De Los Santos is contending that after he attended the rapper's book signing, he was riding back home on his scooter when 50 Cent's car pulled over next to him. Someone from the vehicle allegedly “forcefully swung” open the door next to him, knocking him down.
He is now alleging that the move was deliberate and orchestrated by the rapper himself and that he sustained minor injuries from the incident, as he supposedly hit the pavement. He also claims that his scooter was left unusable. However, 50 Cent's attorney has since refuted the claims in a statement to TMZ:
"Mr. Jackson has neither been served with or seen a filed copy of a lawsuit filed by Ms. Allred’s firm. However, if and when such a frivolous claim is filed and served, rest assured that Mr. Jackson’s legal team will swiftly move to dismiss the matter and seek the maximum costs, fees, sanctions and other remedies that are available under law. Based upon the leaked reports presumably by Ms. Allred, Mr. Jackson is not alleged to be the driver of the vehicle or even the individual who the Plaintiff paparazzi alleges opened the door as he charged a vehicle as it drove away from the bookstore.”
The outlet has revealed that the lawsuit was formally filed on January 27. As for De Los Santos, he claims his medical bills are mounting and that he has been forced to miss work, prompting him to sue the rapper for restitution.
