During a White House Halloween party on October 30, footage showing incumbent President Joe Biden poking fun at and playfully nibbling on babies clad in costumes has been doing the rounds online.

In the event, which took place on the South Lawn, the 81-year-old president was spotted doing the same to at least two babies, prompting several online to critique his behavior. In one video, Biden can be seen playfully chomping on a baby's legs. A user commented:

"Somebody needs to give that guy a talk about boundaries."

Others concurred as many weighed in with their opinions:

"We need a leader who lifts people up, not one who embarrasses us. Time to flip the script back to America First!" a MAGA user chimed in.
"What is wrong with these parents even allowing this man to touch their child," someone else probed.
"Trump’s out there connecting with the working class, while Biden’s busy creating a circus act," yet another commented.
"Omg!! I had only seen the picture, not the video.. the way he gets in that babies face is so inappropriate!! There’s something wrong with that man," one user claimed.

Several others seemingly concurred, with many pointing out that Joe Biden's interaction with the baby was nothing short of inappropriate.

"President Trump is mingling with garbage men at his rally in Wisconsin. Meanwhile, Joe Biden is literally BITING BABIES at the White House Halloween Party. WTF IS THIS TIMELINE?" one user pointed out.
"He needs to be locked up. He's getting out of control," another reckoned.
"Trump: They’re eating the dogs. They’re eating the cats. Biden: Hold my beer," someone online jested.

All about Joe Biden and his wife Jill's lavish Halloween party

The theme for the night was "Hallo-read," a nod to first lady Jill Biden's four decades-long career as an educator. At the event, Jill, clad in a panda costume, was seen handing out copies of 10 Spooky Pumpkins, a book meant for kids, while her husband, Mr. President, distributed candy embedded with the seal of the White House and his autograph.

Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, were seen engaging with kids and dishing out Hershey's Kisses for about an hour. Apart from the local students and those in military families who attended the event, staff and other members also brought in their kids to revel in the festivities.

The event played host to grand festivities in the quintessential Halloween theme colors, boasting a big orange moon and more. Jill Biden issued a statement asserting her commitment to education, pointing out that the goal of the night was to encourage reading among today's youth and their families.

According to The Daily Mail, Secretary of State Antony Blinken brought his own kids along, and OMB director Sholanda Young followed suit by bringing her daughter alongside White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
