Elton John AIDS Foundation has been holding an annual viewing party for the Academy Awards since 1993. The yearly event will also be held parallel to the 97 edition of the award ceremony on March 2, 2025. The Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Party will be held in West Hollywood from 2:30 pm PT onwards.
The event will be headlined with a performance from the Best New Artist Grammy-winner Chappell Roan. Elton John, David Furnish, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jean Smart, Neil Patrick Harris, and David Burtka will host the evening. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s The Gold Party

The musician couple has been organizing their private Academy Awards after-party for a few years. The event will commence after the conclusion of the 97th Oscars at Chateau Marmont, West Hollywood, per Variety. Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s late-night gala will be an invite-only high-profile affair.
Madonna and Guy Oseary’s annual after-party

Madonna and her manager/business partner, Guy Oseary, will keep up their tradition of organizing an after-party for the Oscars. The soiree will be held at a private location in Los Angeles’ Beverly Hills. Like many other A-list events, Madonna and Guy Oseary’s after-party will also be invite-only.
Vanity Fair Oscars Party

Happening since 1994, the Vanity Fair Oscars Party will return with new celebrity appearances. The viewing party will be hosted by Vanity Fair’s VF editor-in-chief Radhika Jones at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. There will be a red carpet event, along with the Oscar-viewing dinner. Vanity Fair will also broadcast its star-studded event through its YouTube channel and official website.
Jonathan Baker’s Oscars viewing party

Producer-director Jonathan Baker will also hold a viewing party of the 97th Academy Awards. The event will be held at Jonathan’s Baker Manor in Beverly Hills. Per Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, the event will be “presented in collaboration with French Riviera Film Festival and Indie Entertainment Media.”
66th Governors Ball

The 66th Governors Ball will be the official post-Academy Awards celebration held by AMPAS after the 97th edition. The soiree will begin shortly at Ray Dolby Ballroom after the conclusion of the award ceremony broadcast.

Many private events and after-parties will be held by different companies, such as Neon, Searchlight Pictures, Netflix, Mubi (with Nordisk Film Production and Lava Films), Alta Global Media, and more.
The 97th Academy Awards will be televised on ABC and streamed live via Hulu from 4:00 pm PT onwards.
