In light of Diddy's arrest last month, a video of him, taken during a party at his Holmby Hills estate in LA in June 2022, has gone viral. The footage, obtained by TMZ on October 3, shows Diddy beckoning the crowd to lotion up and make sure their breath was minty. The mogul has been indicted on charges involving s*xual misconduct.

In the video, Diddy can be heard saying,

"Ayo, everybody make sure your breath is fresh, make sure you're lotioned up."

After his arrest, the feds raided his homes, only to find exorbitant amounts of baby oil, reportedly over 1000 bottles, all of which were allegedly used at his infamous "Freak Off" parties.

He also told the crowd to make sure they didn't smell like marijuana. According to the outlet, the party took place at Diddy's Club Love, and several A-listers were present, including Russell Simmons, Kimora Lee Simmons, Mary J. Blige, Lil Kim, and Young Jeezy.

When the internet caught wind of the clip, scores began chiming in with their own quippy take on the situation.

"Must be from before he discovered baby oil," one user posited, wittily.

While some claimed that the video was damning evidence of his illicit activities., others pointed out that there was nothing shady about what he said.

"this.. wasnt weird in my opinion. he said make sure your breath fresh and you not ashy. Lmao i dont think this should be added onto his freako charges," one user stated.
"Oh yall making headlines out of nothing at this point," another claimed.
"This is a two Americas thing. He nasty but this is not an indictment. Man said make sure you have fresh breath, not ashy and be respectful if you rolling up," yet another echoed.

The internet was seemingly divided between those who thought it was a reach and others who felt it could have meant something.

"The Lotion was getting em Prepped for the Baby Oil," another reckoned.
"This is dumb. Diddy was just saying to make sure you're moisturized. I probably wouldn't have thought to say something like that but ya'll are just making that mean something it didn't mean. Now when you get a video of something incriminating then that will be informative," another claimed.
"I believe this man is guilty of many crimes however, this isn’t weird. We’re BLACK. Making sure your breath is fresh and you’re Ash-free is the bare minimum in the club when you’re trying to look your best. The ppl at TMZ just don’t wear lotion so they don’t know," someone pointed out.
"So they are picking through the videos and trying to find anything to help them paint a picture huh Not saying he is innocent but I see what the media is doing," another tweeted.

Diddy gets special privileges in jail

Last month, Diddy was arrested by Homeland Security on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has since pleaded not guilty, and is biding his time in jail after having been denied bail twice. He is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, until his case goes to court.

According to several sources, the mogul is having a tough time at MDC, a jail infamous for its harsh conditions. According to The Hindustan Times, he has been sleeping on the floor in the Special Housing Unit, as rats scamper around him. According to RadarOnline, the rapper has been refusing to have his meals out of fear for his life.

However, former inmate fashion designer Larry Levine claims Diddy is getting "special privileges” during his time behind bars. He said on the News Nation show Banfield,

“My information from my source is that they’re letting him shower almost every day. It could cause some problems with other inmates as far as jealousy and special privileges… Apparently, some of the staff is sneaking food into him.”

According to The Mirror, Diddy is working on "building his dream legal defense team," and Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro are reportedly set to be inducted.
