Blake Lively returned on Instagram after a long hiatus to address the devastating wildfires that have been spreading through Los Angeles since Tuesday.

Lively posted helpful documents on her stories and highlighted the work that the volunteer organization, Mutual Aid L.A. Network is doing.

In one of her Instagram stories, Lively mentioned that Mutual Aid L.A. Network (MALAN) has been "putting together a document with countless resources."

She also mentioned that the Google document containing the resources was constantly being updated with more information that could be helpful for those in need. In the second part of the her story she posted more of that document and captioned it:

"MALAN is regularly updating this Google sheet with mutual aid resources for folks in LA. There's info on shelters, free PPE, food, animal rescues, and more. If you have additional resources, please share them with @mutualaidla."

This wildfire comes as one of the worst one in the recent history of Los Angeles and at least 5 people have lost their lives to it. It started on January 7, 2025, in the Pacific Palisades area and extremely strong winds are partly making the fire blaze wilder. The Eaton Fire also hit following this and on Wednesday, it was reported that a new wave of fire had started in the Hollywood Hills.

The fire has been spreading violently and has resulted in the evacuation of almost 80,000 people while a significant number of homes and other structures have been destroyed or damaged, including properties of celebrities like Heidi Montag Pratt, Paris Hilton, Anna Faris, Spencer Pratt, and Leighton Meester and Adam Brody.

Blake Lively’s post comes amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively’s Instagram post about the wildfire marks her return to the social media platform since she filed a lawsuit against Justine Baldoni, her co-star and director of the film It Ends With Us. The film was released in the theatres back in August 2024, and is now currently streaming on Netflix.

Lively’s first lawsuit was issued on December 20, 2024, alleging Baldoni of s*xual harassment and creating a toxic work environment on the set of the film. She further complained that Baldoni had launched a campaign to publicly vilify her image and the campaign was headed by Bladoni’s publicist Jennifer Abel and crisis PR Melissa Nathan, who is famous for previously working with Johnny Depp during his whole fiasco with Amber Heard.

Baldoni has however denied all these allegations and his publicist also refused to have ever launched a “smear campaign” against Lively. Since her first complaint, Lively launched another set of formal complaints on December 31, 2024, and is currently suing Baldoni in federal court in New York.

While social media remains divided on the two and how they have behaved and affected each other's lives, it remains to be seen where this ultimately goes and in whose favor the verdicts go.
