Danny and Michael Philippou, the twins popularly known as RackaRacka, have already concluded the filming of their horror flick dubbed Bring Her Back, and now we have a trailer detailing what we can expect from it. Sally Hawkins and Billy Barratt are in the lead, and the former plays a foster mom. The brothers made their directorial debut with Talk to Me (2022).

Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton are producing the film, and A24 will distribute it. This will be the second feature film for the twins, who garnered much attention for their first film, sitting fresh with 94% approval ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

Here's a breakdown of Bring Her Back trailer

The Bring Her Back trailer begins with a black cat eating something from a bowl and hears a sound. She comes across this closed gate in the next scene and we hear a sound suggesting somebody just banged it.

Then, it shows a camera filming a girl, much like what we see terrorists do when they torture a victim. The girl already appears to be a victim of some physical abuse, given she has a visible scar just below her right eye. The Bring Her Back trailer then cuts to an external scene.

Here, we have a back shot of a person who we cannot tell if that's a girl in a boy cut or a boy. Whoever this person is, they are watching a family going by their daily routines.

Later, there's a shot of Sally Hawkins as we see her smiling at something, but the real horror begins in the next scene as there's a struggling person who is likely taking their final breaths. It starts to get bloody from here on.

There's also a found footage-like video where a girl, seemingly the one with the scar we witnessed earlier, appears to be either possessed or beaten to a pulp by someone.

Lastly, we see a lady sitting in a circle, and a naked man arrives who holds her head like he is about to chop her head off. That hints towards a potential occult involved in the story.

We don't have the plot yet but the film's logline, according to Variety, says.

"The story follows a brother and sister who uncover a horrifying ritual in their foster mother’s home."

Other than A24, Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions will distribute the film too. Given the success of the director's 2022 film, we can expect a twisted but good story with this.
