Rapper Aubrey Drake Graham might have come up with a response to meet the grahams by Kendrick Lamar, at least that’s what fans speculate. A new freestyle track Fighting Irish was made in collaboration with record producer Conductor Williams who first posted the video on January 3, 2025, but it was subsequently taken down.

The now-deleted video was nevertheless circulated across social media platforms. However, it’s unclear whether the freestyle track will be released once again or not. The X account ‘Kurrco’ shared the clip which had received 8.4 million views at the time of writing the story. Fans had a few speculations about it as one X user wrote:

“Drake lowkey just confirmed a lot of what Kendrick said about him on "Meet The Grahams". Father issues, addictions, religious views, that record really dug into his soul. Gotta salute Kendrick for sending Drake on this path.”

Social media users drew similarities between the two tracks as many pointed out the exact lines which sounded like a response to Kendrick Lamar’s diss track.

“that last verse sounded like a lot of replies to meet the grahams to me: ‘I don't have a drinking problem i have a subtle addiction, I got my father's habits and I got my mother's permission' 'my dad has another child I told him that wasn't my sister'" a social media user commented.
“Curious how many times Drake played back the last verse of Meet The Grahams,” another netizen pointed out.

A few X users called the track ‘dope’ while others analyzed his lyrics, especially when he talked about his sister.

“So Drake has a sister that he ain't claimin and I'm supposed to believe he doesn't have a daughter. Aight, Meet the Grahams ig,” an online commentator noted.
“This was dope he does say a couple things that makes me question if that meet the grahams daughter verse was about his dad’s child and they misunderstood who the girl was and drake saying that ain’t his sister is effed up tho,” a person reacted on X.

What does Kendrick Lamar’s meet the grahams say about Drake?

Kendrick Lamar released the diss track against the Canadian rapper in May 2024. The lyrics start by addressing Adonis, the rapper’s son. However, the track addressed not only his son but also Graham’s other family members, like his mother, father, and daughter whose identity was ambiguous.

Addressing Adonis, Lamar suggested the rapper lacked responsiveness and claimed he took Ozempic and hired escorts. Turning to the parents, Lamar criticized his mother for allowing the rapper's supposed habits and accused his father of fostering traits like manipulation and gambling issues.

Kendrick Lamar further alleged the rapper harbored s*x offenders on his OVO label and hypers*xualized Black women. Lamar also implied Drake has an 11-year-old daughter whose identity is unrevealed, expressing disappointment over his alleged absence in her life.

He painted a picture of missed moments, like teaching or celebrating milestones, contrasting them with claims of Graham's indulgences in places like Turks. The track concluded with accusations of lies concerning the Canadian rapper’s children and personal life.

The lyrics in the Fighting Irish freestyle track reflected shifting relationships and loyalty, expressing a sense of disappointment in bonds once thought unbreakable. The singer hinted at growing apart from familiar circles and traditions, suggesting that distancing himself has created emotional and social separation.
