In light of music mogul Diddy's arrest based on s*xual misconduct last month, Nigerian rapper Burna Boy has been subject to controversy. An image of the two stuck in a compromising position has been making the rounds online. However, the image has since been debunked as doctored and entirely fake.

Regardless, the image has since spread like wildfire, prompting scores online to scrutinize their bond. The image has also sparked queries about the nature of their relationship, especially since the titan executive produced Burna Boy's Grammy-winning album Twice As Tall. This is the real Burna Boy image that was later edited and circulated:

Speed Darlington claims foul play was involved in Burna Boy's Grammy win

Just last month, the Nigerian rapper found himself amid controversy yet again following inquisitions into his kin with Diddy. Speed Darlington, a fellow Nigerian musician, posited foul play might have been involved in Burna Boy's Grammy win in 2021 for his album, Twice As Tall. In a video that came out on Friday, September 20, the rapper said:

"Burna Boy took a picture with Diddy and he won a Grammy not long after. Burna don’t get offended, how much oil did Diddy use on you before they gave you that Grammy?”

After Diddy was arrested, his homes were raided, and several illicit substances and well over 1,000 baby bottles were found, allegedly used in connection with his notorious "freak off" parties.

Burna Boy has remained mum so far and has yet to react to all the contention.

Diddy clears all rumors of him and Burna Boy feuding

Back in February 2023, Diddy and Burna Boy were rumored to be feuding, especially since a social media post, allegedly Diddy's Instagram story, went viral. The day after the Grammys, the now-disgraced mogul purportedly took to IG to remind everyone of his role in an unnamed someone's win:

"I helped you win your first and only Grammy award which I did out of kindness, and somehow you thought you could win another without my help?? Oh okay…"

Fans soon began speculating that he could have been talking about Burna Boy. However, the mogul himself took to the news outlet @its_onsite not long after to clear the air, stating in the comments section:

"This is fake."

Diddy has been hit with a litany of charges, ranging from abuse to s*x trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation with the intent of prostitution.

He has pleaded not guilty to all counts, and is currently detained in a New York jail. A judge denied his bail twice, leaving the rapper biding his time until the case goes to trial.
