Ebro Darden called DJ Akademiks "goofy drunk and sick" while quoting him on X during a recent X feud. Darden has been consecutively putting up with Drake's actions in his feud with Kendrick Lamar, and DJ Akademiks wasn't happy about this.

Darden's tweet comes after Akademiks slammed Darden's podcast from last week, where he called Drizzy a "sickness."

While responding to the Akademiks tweet, Ebro mentioned,

"This goofy drunk and sick too. Pills, h*es and fast food. He will get it together one day, but... We have all been lost in this game at some point."

Ebro's tweet comes after his recent online interaction with Drake and DJ Akademiks. During an episode of Ebro in The Morning on Hot 97 earlier last week, Ebro called Drizzy a "sickness" while discussing his feud with Kendrick Lamar.

"Drake is not that important. The reason Drake's in this is because he is a sickness in the game. It could have been any artist, but it's what Drake represents. People love Drake - they love his music, we love his music. He's beloved."

After which, DJ Akademiks took to X to defend Drizzy. While Akademiks did not name anybody specifically, he did quote the rapper being called "sickness."

"These media n***as sound like hurt h**s. N**gas calling Drake a sickness. N**gas acting like Drake f*cked their h*e...half of these n**gas just wanted an interview."

Akademiks took to X on February 19 to subtweet Ebro Darden while criticizing hip-hop outlets for presenting biased news against Drake.

Why is Ebro Darden feuding with DJ Akademiks and Drake?

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s rap feud has escalated, drawing in other rappers. While DJ Akademiks sided with Drake, Ebro Darden is on Lamar's side and can often be seen throwing shade at Drizzy and his supporters. On February 9, Lamar delivered a 13-minute set at the Super Bowl featuring several songs, including Not Like Us, which is seen as a direct shot at Drake.

After his performance, Ebro Darden and his co-hosts analyzed the set during an episode of Ebro in the Morning on February 11. Darden argued that Lamar's message ran deeper and dismissed Drizzy as someone who's "not that important" and he could have been "any artist."

Darden also emphasized that Drake's career is more focused on "money, chart dominance, and incorporating different styles into his own," while Kendrick "stayed grounded in his origins" and focused on "what truly matters to him."
