The year is ending, and Drake has decided to give his fans some Christmas spirit. The celebrated rapper recently collaborated with Kick streamer Adin Ross for the "Drizzmass Giveaway" stream. Touted as "the biggest streaming giveaway ever," Drizzmass Giveaway saw Drizzy and Ross interacting with their followers.

During the first hour of the stream, Champagne Papi responded to a viewer's comment about Young Thug. The "God's Plan" performer asserted how he cannot wait for Thugger's forthcoming project(s). He said,

"Shout out to (Young) Thug? I can't wait until Thug drops."

He further dropped a hint as he replied, "Of course," to a collaboration between him and Young Thug. Although the hint was sublime, fans can expect more from Drizzy and Thugger in the future. If it happens, it will not be the first time the artists will collaborate. Previously, the rappers have collaborated on songs like "Sacrifices," "Ice Melts," "D4L," and more.

Thugger's third studio album, Business Is Business, also had "Parade on Cleveland," a track featuring Drake. At the same time, 6 God's "It's Up" from his fifth EP -- 100 Gigs -- featured Young Thug alongside 21 Savage.

Interestingly, even during the rap beef between Drizzy and Kendrick Lamar, Thug, unlike many, didn't pick a side and called for peace. On the other hand, Champagne Papi has made headlines for allegedly gifting Young Thug $1 million.

Drake allegedly gifted Young Thug $1 Million, as per DJ Akademiks

Before Young Thug was released in October 2024, he received support from many artists, including Future, Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj, and more. Drizzy was another name among the rappers who voiced in Thugger's favor. In November 2024, Livingston Allen, aka DJ Akademiks, said that the Thank Me Later artist had allegedly gifted $1 million to Young Thug. Here's what DJ Akademiks claimed:

"The talk is this – They say two hours afterwards, Drake flew to Thug and allegedly gave him a mil [million dollars]. Drake didn't tell me this. Drake gon' hit me up and be, like, 'Who told you this?'"

He added,

"Which by the way [is a super strategic move.] Super Strategic Move. Thug was in jail, talking about 'let's squash all this beef.' If I'm Drake, I need Atlanta."

DJ Akademiks claimed that 6 God was seeking the support of a big name from Atlanta. Thus, he apparently flew wherever Thugger was and gave him a million dollars as a welcome gift. He further added that only the industry insiders knew about the alleged incident.

Conversely, Young Thug has been relatively neutral towards the feud between Drizzy and the "Not Like Us" rapper. Mariah the Scientist had previously told Billboard how she used to update Thugger around the beef, while he was still serving his time. Ahead of his release from prison, Thug's X account even posted about the beef, asking for peace among Drizzy, Future, and Metro Boomin,

“@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin we all bruddas. Music aint the same without us collabin"

For the unversed, 2024 has been a mixed bag for the five-time Grammy winner. The Canadian artist became the most streamed rapper earlier this year and was entangled in a feud with Kendrick Lamar.

Thugger, on the flip side, was finally released from prison after getting a favorable verdict in the YSL RICO trial. He was sentenced to the time served and 15 years of probation, alongside 20 years of prison time (if probation is violated).
