American rapper, DreamDoll, who recently gave birth to her daughter, Jream, shared her postpartum journey, showing how her body is reacting to the changes one week postpartum. Fitness influencer, Averi Woodley, commented on the video, hinting that everything seen in social media should not be believed. She writes.

"Don’t believe the lies or the angles or the surgeries."

In a video shared on Instagram by The Shade Room, the new mother is seen joyfully appreciating her body, which is seemingly recovering faster than expected. The "Ah Ah Ah" rapper is seen sarcastically saying in the video:

"Who had a baby a week ago?"

She also added that she would soon be sharing some tips on how she did it, as well as her birthing experience. While some people appreciated her and were amazed that her body had "snapped back", others had a different perspective.

The fitness coach called out the singer, emphasizing that one should embrace their postpartum journey and not conform to the societal pressures.

She said:

"I've had 3 kids and all were c-sections and I have also been a fitness coach for over 10 years ... IT TAKES TIME!!!! Ladies, don’t beat yourselves up thinking you are supposed to “snap back” right after – ummmm no!

More details on DreamDoll's pregnancy journey

DreamDoll, whose real name is Tabatha Robinson, announced her pregnancy on 1 January, 2025. The "Ice Cream Dream" singer took to Instagram to share a black and white video shot on the beaches of Cancun, Mexico set to Beyonce's song "Blue". In the heartfelt post she shared her excitement over the "new chapter" she was about to embark on.

She wrote:

"2024 has been a year of challenges, growth, and preparation. It reshaped me, taught me how to set boundaries, and helped me recognize what I allow into my life. But now, I’m stepping into 2025 with so much excitement for this new chapter becoming a mother. This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and now, I’m living in the beauty of this incredible gift. There’s a promise with my name on it, and, I’m embracing it with open arms."

She further added:

"This year has taught me that growth doesn’t happen in isolation. What I’ve experienced weren’t just lessons they were breakthroughs. Seeking guidance, advice, and mentorship from those ahead of me has been invaluable. Surrounding myself with people who inspire and uplift me has been a key part of my journey…To my baby, you’ve given Mommy so much peace. You’ve given me all the reassurance and strength in the world and because of you, I know I’m going to be the best mother I can be. Everyone say hi to my Muffin.”

Although there has been a lot of speculation, the singer is yet to confirm who the father of her child is. Many fans believe that the former Dutch football player Quincy Promes is the father.

The pair dated for a while before ending their relationship in 2024. Online reactions to the possibility of Promes being the father stem from his past legal troubles, including convictions for drug trafficking and aggravated assault. Moreover, he was allegedly married with three children while he dated DreamDoll.
