Following a heated exchange of words at WWE Royal Rumble between Logan Paul and Kai Cenat, the former has since conceded that his frustration with the streamer was genuine.
Speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul, who got eliminated from the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match at the hands of John Cena, reflected on his tension with Kai Cenat. Just before the event, Kai invited the Prime founder for a stream together, and the two were seen joking around.
However, things turned sour at one point when Cenat suggested that no one in Atlanta was on his side. The comment turned into a disagreement, and following his loss in the ring, Paul admitted to blaming Cenat for it.
“And I’m like, what is this s*** Kai? Sure enough, I look up and there’s Kai Cenat. He’s chirping at me, and I just got thrown out of the Rumble. I’m like, ‘Bro, I don’t need this energy.’ I was frustrated. So I basically blamed the entire loss on him. We just started going at it, and he fired back at me," he said. "Meanwhile, I’m like, ‘Do I risk my job and drag him over the barricade, like distract from the match?’ Because, bro, I don’t even know how I got eliminated from the Rumble.”

Speaking on the podcast, Logan Paul reflected on the confrontation he had with the Kick streamer:
“I love Kai. He invited me on a stream before the match, and I thought this is sick. We were out there, and he’s like, ‘Yo, Atlanta wasn’t f***ing with you.’ I was like, ‘What are you talking about? Yeah, Atlanta loves me. Everyone loves me.'”
He revealed he then asked Cenat if he would be cheering him on during his match or booing him, and to his surprise, Cenat picked the latter.
“And I asked him, ‘Bro, are you going to cheer me or are you going to boo me?’ He basically said, ‘I’m not f***ing with you, Logan. I’m going to boo you.’ I was like, ‘To my face? You’re going to boo me?’ So, after I got eliminated, all of a sudden, I didn’t hear any voices.The voices all sounded the same, except Kai’s. I’m like, ‘Yo, chat, yo chat.’ I hear him. He’s like, ‘Yo, drop L’s in the chat for Logan, dog.’“
He revealed that it was his frustration that made him blame his loss on Kai Cenat, which is what triggered their argument as well. He also revealed that, at one point, he even thought about exacting physical violence on the streamer.
