Online gamer and streamer Caseoh shared his thoughts about Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance. As seen in videos circulating online, the gamer criticized the rapper’s performance and likened his opinions to a popular fast-food chain. He commented after a viewer remembered the rapper’s name during the livestream.

Caseoh strongly criticized Kendrick Lamar's halftime show, saying it was just as disappointing as expected, if not worse. He expressed his long-standing dislike for the rapper, calling the performance terrible and emphasizing that his opinion hasn't changed over the past decade. He added:

“I like how some of you all are acting surprised as if I haven’t been saying this for the past two years of my streaming career. Buddy, this ain’t new. You know how I look at Kendrick Lamar? I look at Kendrick Lamar the same way I look at Chick-fil-A. Not absolutely horrible but disgustingly overrated.”

Caseoh criticized Lamar's popularity, suggesting that one catchy song suddenly turned everyone into a fan. He called the rapper "garbage tier" and mocked Not Like Us before clarifying that he isn’t a fan of Drake either.

The streamer added that Lil Wayne would have been a better choice for the halftime show. While reviewing Lamar’s music on stream, he admitted to liking Swimming Pools and questioned why it was not performed.

Despite his dislike for Lamar, he acknowledged the song's quality. Caseoh’s Twitch channel saw remarkable growth in early 2024, gaining over 6 million followers.


Celebrities react to Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance

Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance received mixed reactions from social media users and famous personalities. He performed hits like Squabble Up, Not Like Us, Humble, and others. According to Cosmopolitan, actor Jamie Foxx hosted a party where his family watched the halftime performance on TV.

Rapper Snoop Dogg shared an Instagram post with a video of Lamar’s performance which he watched on TV. Kanye West said he loved the performance, saying it was his favorite halftime show. He added:

“It was my favorite halftime show since like Michael Jackson era which I kind of just barely remember. I just be seeing clips of it and it was super simple. The flag was fresh when they did Be Humble. The way the people’s heads is moved but I was just like shook. This is like super fresh like the man’s voice control and all that.”

TV personality Stephen A. Smith also shared his thoughts on X. He wrote:

“OMG…..OMG……@kendricklamar did it. Not only did he rock the beat of “Not Like Is”……he sang the lyrics. He did it. Mentioned “Drake” by name too. Awwwww Damn! Helluva halftime show. The brother showed out.#Salute!”

Jermaine Dupri praised Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show for its live performance, strong breath control, choreography, and skits, highlighting that it was pure rap.

Magic Johnson also shared his excitement, saying Lamar delivered an incredible show with a great song selection and impressive production. He also complimented SZA’s vocals and enjoyed seeing Serena Williams and Samuel L. Jackson, in the performance.
