A new lawsuit accusing Sean "Diddy" Combs of drugging and r*aping a Chicago street musician at a house party in Los Angeles in November 2022 was filed on February 10 in the New York Supreme Court. According to the lawsuit, Diddy lured the victim by using his influence and authority.

The case is the latest in a string of legal actions against Diddy, who is presently in jail on different counts of racketeering and s*x trafficking.

The plaintiff, known as "John Doe," claims that in November 2022, while playing on the street outside a nightclub, he was approached by a representative of Bad Boy Records. The scout allegedly promised him a once-in-a-lifetime chance to break into the music industry by inviting him to an exclusive event held by Combs. Later, Doe was driven to the party in a black Cadillac Escalade, according to the lawsuit, where he met Combs and was offered a drink that allegedly made him feel

"drowsy, euphoric, and off-balance."

According to the lawsuit, Combs escorted Doe to a secluded room and asked if he wanted to see his jewelry collection after a brief discussion about his music. Doe reportedly noticed something was off when he entered the room since there was no jewelry. Rather, the lawsuit alleges that Combs asked,

"Have you ever sucked a d**k before?"

out of the blue. Combs reportedly told Doe

"You should try it,"

and then revealed himself when Doe had replied no in disbelief.

According to the lawsuit, Combs applied

"increasing pressure"

on Doe to comply or risk losing a recording contract, even though Doe repeatedly refused. Doe was still under the influence of the drugged cocktail when Combs allegedly grew violent and forced his p*nis into his mouth.

According to the lawsuit, Doe was orally r*ped by Combs, who then stripped him and physically attacked him before departing the room, leaving Doe incapacitated on the bed.

Doe was left in a vulnerable state until the next morning, when an unidentified person gave him an IV and told him that his ride was waiting outside, according to the court filings. He was then driven back to the nightclub where he had been picked up, without hearing from Combs or his associates again.

The Buzbee Law Firm filed the claim, alleging brutal s*xual assault and seeking both compensatory and punitive damages. According to the lawsuit, Combs' behavior was consistent with a long-standing practice of coercion, abuse, and manipulation.

The lawsuit states,

"This case seeks compensatory and punitive damages for that violent s*xual assault. The conduct described herein is shockingly typical of how Defendant Sean Combs conducted himself for many years. Many individuals and entities facilitated and conspired with this abhorrent conduct. Sean Combs believed he was above the law. He is not."

Numerous cases against Combs have been spearheaded by Doe's legal team, which is overseen by lawyer Tony Buzbee. Several people who have come forward with allegations of s*xual assault, exploitation, and abuse at the hands of the former music boss are being represented by Buzbee. Combs was charged in two further cases this month with planning

"group s*x"

situations and ordering a club promoter to rape a woman in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The most recent accusations have been rejected by Diddy's legal team, who described them as

"facially ridiculous or demonstarbly false."

A representative for the rapper and businessman told Us Weekly in a statement,

"Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false. Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never s*xually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor."

Despite these denials, more people are coming forward with charges against Diddy, and the lawsuits keep piling up. The John Doe lawsuit is just one of several accusations that could have serious legal and reputational repercussions for the former music tycoon as the legal battles progress.

Diddy's incarceration and pending trial

Diddy whose real name is Sean Combs, 55, is being jailed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He awaits trial on May 5 for separate allegations of racketeering and s*x trafficking. Federal authorities have been looking into allegations that Combs enabled s*xual abuse by using his connections, fortune, and prestige.

Combs has been sued by several people since late 2023 for alleged s*xual misbehavior, including drugging, r*pe, and violence. On October 20, 2024, five distinct complaints were filed in the New York Federal Court, and on October 21, two more cases were sent to the New York Supreme Court. According to the plaintiffs, Combs and his associates engaged in a systematic pattern of abuse, which is depicted in these cases.
