Gene Deal, Diddy’s former bodyguard, revealed a new dimension about the rapper’s private life. According to a Daily Mail report, at the Turkish & Russian Bath entrance on East 10th Street, a blurry photograph of the young rapper, partially concealed under a baseball cap, posing with a friend, is displayed. Gene Deal alleged that the rapper visited the place to seek out male partners.
Reportedly, the photo was taken during one of the many visits he made throughout the 1990s. The Turkish bathhouse has attracted locals and celebrities since it was established 150 years ago.
Since 1892, it has drawn men and women seeking its health benefits for scrubbing, steaming, relaxing, and rejuvenating. Many patrons reportedly came simply to wash away the stresses of city life after a long day.
During a conversation with The Art Of Dialogue in 2023, Gene Deal said:
“You hear the rumours? I knew I used to wait outside a Turkish bath for, you know what they do in the Turkish baths?”
He continued:
“That’s where a lot of g*y men meet and they all take hot baths together. To each his own you know bro but that’s a lot of sh*t that these guys get into when they start having certain meetings with certain people and they meet them at the Turkish bath and they do their meetings and they meet their people in those type of situations.”
At the Turkish Bathhouse, clients treated themselves to therapeutic options such as mud and salt scrubs, shiatsu massages, or the signature platza oak leaf treatment, among other activities. Some staff members indicated that this was one of Diddy’s preferred treatments.
Gene Deal claimed he was in one of the ‘exotic’ bookstores with Diddy
During the interview with The Art Of Dialogue, Gene Deal recounted an experience at an exotic bookstore with Diddy, where he observed the rapper picking up b*tt plugs. When he inquired about the purchase, the rapper responded angrily, insisting that he wanted to shop alone.
Deal also mentioned that Diddy would request his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura to hire male esc*rts instead of doing it himself, as he wanted to avoid any connections being traced back to him. In a recent interview with the same media outlet, the ex-bodyguard claimed that the rapper’s phone was being tapped as his actions were watched. The rapper also tried to contact Deal.
“He sent somebody, through somebody else to try get in contact with me, telling me enough is enough,” Gene Deal said.
He pointed out that during that entire period, the investigation also included the mayor and politicians in New York City. He alluded that Mayor Adams was involved in a separate scandal, with officials he appointed resigning and several of his associates under investigation due to allegations of corruption and mismanagement.
While the investigations into Mayor Adams and Combs have not been officially connected, Deal proposed that Mayor Adams' relationship with Diddy likely prompted the Southern District of New York to begin investigating Diddy concerning civil lawsuits against him.
