Megan Thee Stallion and Winnie Harlow allegedly got into a brawl during a Mike Rubin Party. A short clip from The Jason Lee Podcast, published on November 8, has been doing the rounds online. In it, at the 1-hour 4-minute mark, Lee can be heard saying:
"Um, everybody keeps asking me to release the tea on Megan that I said I was going to release... um... she got in a fight with Winnie Harlow at Michael rubin's party. I don't have all the full details yet and I'm waiting on the video but I've texted Megan and Winnie so there you go."
The clip has since prompted varied reactions online, with many picking sides. One user even referred to the September 2022 claims that Megan Thee Stallion tried to force-feed Nicki Minaj some alcohol while she was trying to get pregnant:
"Did she try to force winne to drink as well?"
Many more decided to weigh in:
"I need the video not no damn rumor Jason," somebody joked.
"Y’all gotta see she’s the problem," another user noted.
"She was probably flirting with Winnie’s man," one user jested.
"So yet another example of her being violent! Same way yall used that altercation between Tory and August Alina as “proof” SO IS THIS!" another declared.
The reactions didn't end there, as many more chimed in to opine:
"I love Meg so I’m on her side automatically," one user declared.
"Lmao why is this so believable cause I’ve heard Winnie has a NASTY attitude," another claimed.
"Seems like whenever there’s alcohol, Megan blacks out and acts a fool, then plays victim. Seems like SHES the problem," somebody else posited.
"Megan is not a girls girl she a snake and a weirdo," yet another stated.
The rest of the internet began calling the rumors made up, with many claiming "proof or it didn't happen." However, a sizeable chunk ascertained that Megan Thee Stallion was the problem here, as they urged her to seek help.
A quick look at Megan Thee Stallion and Barbz' rocky history
Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj's beef have had a long-standing beef, a part of which stems from January 2024, when the latter dropped her single, Big Foot. The diss track was presumed to be a jibe back at Megan's then-latest song, Hiss.
One of the bars, that apparently caught Barbz' eye, goes as follows:
"These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law. I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start.”
Netizens began theorizing that the bar was a direct diss at Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, a registered sex offender. Megan's Law asserts that all information ae federally required to be public information.
In response, Minaj took to Instagram Live to defend her man:
"You bringing up 30-year-old tea from when this man was a 15-year-old child. You bringing up 30-year-old tea cause no man will ever f*****g love you, and lying on your dead mother.”
In September 2022, during an episode of Queen Radio, Nicki Minaj made the following contentious claims:
"Imagine telling someone you didn’t want to drink because you were, at the time, possibly pregnant. Because you were actively having a baby. Imagine if that person said, ‘Oh girl, you can go to the clinic.' Imagine posting photos that you are pregnant and the person doesn’t even like it or say congratulations. But then when you post that Beyoncé sent you flowers congratulating you, the person then tried to send you flowers thinking that, ‘Oh, I can use this opportunity,’ as she does everyone else. ‘She’ll post the flowers.’ I didn’t even let them s—s in motherf—–g house.”
Fans began tying the claims to Megan Thee Stallion, and when she caught wind of it, she promptly took to X to shut the claims down:
It remains to be seen whether Megan Thee Stallion and Winnie Harlow's alleged brawl video sees the light of day. At the time of writing, neither party has confirmed or denied the same.
