In a recent article published on March 25, Financial News reported that Taylor Swift's 33-year-old brother, Austin Swift, married his longtime girlfriend, Syndey Ness. However, the rumors are not true since the couple has not confirmed their wedding.
For the unversed, Austin is three years younger than Taylor, and the two grew up on the Swift Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania before the family moved to Nashville to support Taylor's music career.
In a recent article, Financial News, claimed that the wedding took place in an intimate ceremony at Mallorca, Spain. Sydney and Austin have been dating for a while, with Sydney often spotted accompanying Swift's family at various public events.
The couple made their first public appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game in October, 2023, alongside sister Taylor Swift. Austin and Ness were spotted next to the pop star, as she and her friends cheered for Swift's boyfriend, and Kansas City Chiefs player, Travis Kelce.
The two accompanied Taylor again at a Christmas Day game at Arrowhead Stadium.
More about Austin Swift and Sydney Ness' relationship
Taylor Swift's younger brother, Austin Swift, and Sydney Ness first sparked dating rumors in September 2022, after they were spotted holding hands in NYC.
Sydney is a professional model and a photographer. She is signed with Natural Model Management and Ford Models and has worked in several fashion campaigns, including the Venus Swim Campaign and JustFab.
During a conversation with Katie H. Willcox in November 2021, Sydney opened up about her journey as a plus-size model since the age of 15. She said:
"That was something that I did have to learn the hard way of realizing that you'll never be enough for everybody, but you'll be exactly enough for the right people."
Austin Swift, on the other hand, is a producer, businessman, and former actor known for his appearance on Live by Night and I.T. Austin has also appeared in several of Taylor's music videos and handles elements of her music licensing for multimedia uses. In a June 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, Austin opened up about his relationship with his famous sister,
"She found singing, and I knew from very early on that that was her direction. She was never going to quit; that was her thing, that was her life. And I was always a little bit, you know, doing this, doing that."
Austin received an ACM nomination in 2022 for his work as a producer on Taylor's music video, I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor's Version).
