Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 has been a source of unending entertainment. Max Major, the magician cum YouTuber, made an appearance in the ongoing subathon where his recent stunt left fans on tenterhooks. The magician prepared a set-up outside Cenat’s house and placed his head in a noose to simulate hanging.
The streamer had to choose which rope to pull for the stunt but after the countdown ended, he pulled the rope tied to Max Major’s noose and the magician ended up hanging. This resulted in the performance ending as paramedics standing at a distance rushed to the scene.
Kai Cenat’s team was visibly shocked by the incident. After the mishap, Max Major uploaded a video on YouTube titled A message to kai cenat. The magician explained that he was sure that Cenat would outsmart him, and thus he planned the trick in such a way that the streamer would pick the wrong rope. In the video, Major said,
“You wanted to see me fail and I thought tonight I would give you exactly what you asked for. You see you thought the game was for me to influence you to make the right choice.”
He continued,
“All along I planned to influence you to make the wrong choice and I knew you would pick the red handle. You see even when it feels like you are playing a game of chance, you have to remember who you are playing against cause I decide who wins or loses.”
Even though it might seem that Kai Cenat hanged someone in a livestream of Mafiathon 2, it seems it was all a part of a prank by Max Major, and no one appeared to be hurt in the situation.
Max Major texted Kai Cenat saying he was the ‘bad guy’
After the incident, Kai Cenat’s team held Max Major’s assistant back in his house to confront him. Cenat asked the assistant to call the magician but he claimed that Major did not have his phone with him. The streamer demanded the magician to return to his house and explain what happened to the audience.
However, Cenat’s team received a message from the magician, who said he was the ‘bad guy’ and coming back would not change anything. As read out by the streamer, the magician wrote,
“I think we let everybody leave and we let the story be what it is. I am the bad guy but coming back doesn’t change anything.”
Kai Cenat suggested that the magician’s message was selfish. Rapper Sexyy Red, who was also a guest on the stream that day, was frustrated and claimed that Max Major was scared, suggesting he deserved harsher consequences for his actions.
Kai Cenat said he needed an apology from the magician because his team was not informed about the stunt. It is now being reported that concerning the consequences of the incident, the streamer would not allow any magicians in his future streams.
Netizens and personalities also reacted to the situation with Canadian streamer xQc suggesting that Cenat should get banned from the streaming platform as the magician’s stunt was equal to ‘fake swatting.’
