A song, allegedly performed by Justin Bieber, has been making the rounds on social media. It has since sparked speculation about whether the Canadian pop star wrote and released a song about his time at Diddy's infamous parties. The speculations come on the heels of Diddy's recent arrest involving sexual misconduct.
The lyrics for the Justin Bieber song goes as follows:
"Lost myself at a Diddy party, didn’t know that’s how it go, I was in it for a new Ferrari, but it cost me way more than my soul, wasn’t worth all the fortune and fame.”
However, as reported by CBS, the song was AI-generated, and not indicative of how the pop star, who has been close to Diddy since the age of 15, felt at the parties.
Furthermore, the song is not recorded in the singer's catalog either. Regardless, the song, which first surfaced in April, has since gone viral, having been used in over 4,500 TikTok videos.
Diddy once took Justin Bieber to hang out at a secretive, "15-year-old’s dream” place, calls him his "little brother"
According to Stephen Stahl, co-founder of Ai-SPY,
“AI is [going to] be able to help anybody create a song easily, quicker, more efficiently. The downside is that everybody will be able to create a song. So talent is no longer a prerequisite to construct a great song.”
Justin Bieber and Diddy have long been friends, especially since the former was taken under the wing by Combs' protégé, Usher, back in 2008. Since then, the two have hung out with each other several times over the years.
In one YouTube video, the two can be seen hanging out at one of the mogul's estates. Diddy can be heard saying in the video:
"You ever seen the movie 48 Hrs? Right now [Justin is] having 48 hours with Diddy, him and his boy. They’re having the times of their lives. Where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose. But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”
In 2011, a clip from Jimmy Kimmel Live showed Diddy warning Justin Bieber to keep his mouth shut about their shared escapades. In the video, Diddy tells a 16-year-old video to keep mum about things he doesn't want "everyone to know," and refers to him as his "little brother."
"He’s somebody that we definitely have our arms around and we wanna protect him because he’s genuinely such a nice person besides his talents."
Diddy is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center, pending trial. He has been denied bail twice, and pleaded not guilty to all charges involving sexual misconduct.
