The film's release date has gone through multiple changes since the announcement broke out. Recent reports suggest that Warner Bros. Pictures will release it on August 14, 2026, after date changes on two occasions.

Flowervale Street gets a new release date
Flowervale Street gets pushed for the third time in a row. The science fiction film will be released on August 14, 2026, by Warner Bros. Pictures. It was earlier supposed to be out on May 16, 2025, which was later changed to March 13, 2026.
The film was first announced back in 2023 as Deadline announced a collaboration between Mitchell and J.J. Abrams. It was described as a 'thrill ride' that has been shot on IMAX cameras.
The plot of Flowervale Street, written by Mitchell himself, will reportedly take place in the 1980s and revolve around a woman looking for her two children who went missing. There are also reports of dinosaurs featured in the storyline. Shooting was supposed to start in July 2023 but was pushed back due to the Hollywood strike. It eventually began in March 2024, and filming took place in locations like Atlanta, and London. The shooting schedule concluded on June 4, 2024. Jackson Pictures is producing the film under their banner along with Abram's Bad Robot.
Anne Hathaway plays the lead role of a mother looking for her missing children, while Scottish actor Evan McGregor also plays a pivotal role. Other cast members are listed below:
