David Murphey’s fame and professional accomplishments
Murphey had been in the news for quite some time thanks to his time on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. The show broadcasted his virtual relationship with Lana, a Ukrainian woman, to whom Murphey had been messaging for seven years through a dating app.
Their romance had been among the most discussed storylines of the season, and it eventually led to a proposal in 2019. However, their journey together did not last long, as per US Weekly.
In an April 2022 episode of 90 Days Dairies, a 90 Day Fiancé spin-off, Murphey revealed that his relationship with Lana crumbled when she refused to shut down her accounts on various dating websites, something he required to continue their relationship.
Apart from his television career, Murphey was a software engineer, veteran, and small business owner. He had recently retired from the Clark County Treasurer’s office in Nevada, and had worked for companies including H&R Block, and IGT.
Despite his professional accomplishments, it was his appearance on the TLC show that allowed him to connect with viewers worldwide.
