"Couldn't be more proud" - Kim Kardashian on North West's Hollywood Bowl performance

We all know about the Hollywood Bowl, which happens to be one of the most iconic amphitheaters in America and Los Angeles, California, but guess who performed there? Well, it was Kim Kardashian and Ye's (formerly known as Kanye West) oldest daughter, North West. It was her debut performance at the super famous Hollywood Bowl, which is situated on Highland Avenue, Los Angeles.

Kim Kardashian, after watching her daughter's performance at the Hollywood Bowl in 2024, became emotional and said, per People Magazine,

"Couldn't be more proud."

She talked about this in the latest episode of The Kardashians. Along with Kim, North's father, Ye, was also present there to support her.

North, without disappointing her parents, made an epic and stylish cameo. She sang as well as danced. In the above-mentioned episode, Kim also compared herself with her daughter and proudly said she couldn't do what her daughter did at such a young age. She also shared how nervous she was before her daughter's performance.

North West, the oldest daughter of Kim and Kanye West, performed at the Hollywood Bowl in May 2024, where she took center stage as Simba. It was a celebratory event on the 30th anniversary of the Disney classic, The Lion King.

The 11-year-old North sang "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" and performed on it. The video of her performance went viral in the spring of 2024, garnering mixed reactions. A certain percentage of netizens appreciated her performance, whereas most of them were quite critical about the entire thing.

As per BuzzFeed, many people went ahead and dragged the nepotism card and argued that the primary reason North West could manage to perform at the Hollywood Bowl was only because of her celebrity parents, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

However, keeping aside all the hatred that North West received on the internet, mother Kim Kardashian was quite protective of her daughter and knew how to handle the backlash.

Kim, on the recent episode of The Kardashians, which is currently streaming on Hulu, opened up about the backlash her daughter faced. Kim expressed her feelings regarding her daughter's performance and said that she did a great job.

Kim went ahead and added:

"And if anyone wants to hate on a child that is having the time of their lives, 'F--k you.'"

Renowned American socialite and businesswoman Kim Kardashian and rapper Ye have four children together: Psalm is the youngest, who is just five; Chicago is six; Saint is nine, and as mentioned before, North is the oldest of them all, who is 11. The former celebrity couple got hitched in 2014 and ended up in a divorce in 2021, which was filed by Kim.

According to reports, some of the factors that led Kim Kardashian to file for a divorce from Ye were his mental health issues as well as the controversial comments he made in the media. Besides that, the 44-year-old Kim was also concerned for her kids' well-being and wanted to prioritize what was important to her.
