Colombian singer Karol G announces new Netflix documentary, set to release in 2025

As per latest reports, Netflix will release a documentary on Colombian singer and songwriter Karol G in 2025. Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Cristina Constantini will reportedly lead the project as producer as well as director.

The official announcement came following a post on Karol G's Instagram handle. The 33-year-old Latin Grammy Awardee shared a beautifully crafted note that left a description of her musical journey over the years. However, the release date has not been confirmed yet.

The note uploaded by Karol G on her upcoming documentary reads:

"A story born from dreams that seemed impossible, fueled by unwavering faith. A relentless journey that defied all odds. My life. My work. My truth. And the powerful connection I share with you all. My dream came true."

As seen above, the note has the stamp of Netflix on it and is decorated with red hearts all around. According to reports, director Constantini will work on the project in association with Bichota Films, Interscope Films and This Machine.

Netflix recently shared an update in a press release describing Karol G's upcoming musical journey as "an intimate portrait of a global music icon — the woman behind the artist."
