City Police raided CasaSur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for the second time, where singer Liam Payne died on October 16 at age 31. The raid comes ahead of the singer's funeral. A local source told US Weekly on November 5,

"Operations carried out by the City Police (and) requested by the prosecutor Andres Madrea (were) within the framework of the case that is under summary secrecy.

According to video footage obtained by US Magazine by a local outlet, Farandula Show, three law enforcement officials were seen leaving the hotel wearing blue vests, backpacks, and shoulder bags. One officer carried a cardboard box and multiple items under his arm.

The hotel was initially raided by the City Police on October 23 amid a drugs peddling probe after One Direction's Liam Payne lost his life from falling from the hotel's balcony of his third-floor room on October 16. As per an autopsy report, Payne was allegedly in a "semi-conscious or unconscious" state, suffering multiple traumas, including a cranial fracture.

As per US Magazine, the October 23 raid was conducted to identify staff members working at the hotel on October 16.

Argentinian newspaper La Nacion quoted a reliable source close to the police, noting,

"Personnel from the Special Investigations Division and the Special Technological Investigations Divisions were deployed (October 23) afternoon to the CasaSur Hotel in Palermo where the singer Liam Payne lost his life last week to carry out a raid (...) to obtain elements of interest for the investigation."

As per an Argentinian journalist Paula Verela, who appeared on a Buenos Aires-based TV show Socios del Espectaculo last month, security footage suggested that Liam Payne had fainted before falling from the balcony. Verela's claims aligned with Payne's preliminary autopsy findings, which stated that the singer might have fallen in "a state of semi or total unconsciousness."

As per BBC, a 911 phone call was made hours before the singer's death by the hotel receptionist to report a guest who was "high on drugs" and "trashing" their room. The caller also believed that the guest "may be in danger."

Amidst news of the hotel's response to Liam Payne's behavior, many netizens questioned CasaSur on why the hotel would send back a guest alone to their room with a balcony after believing they might be in danger.
