The death of the American actor Chadwick Boseman was indeed a huge loss to the American film fraternity. The actor's death on August 29, 2020, came as a massive shock to Hollywood as well as his millions of fans across the globe. The late Boseman, widely known for portraying the Black Panther character, was a true artist who was extremely dedicated to his art form.

Ryan Coogler, the director of the Black Panther films, was recently on the popular radio show The Breakfast Club, where he opened up about the late actor, Boseman, who died due to colon cancer at 43, and discussed the impact his death had on other people. Coogler specifically mentioned how his death affected him and actor Michael B. Jordan, who had also worked with Boseman in the Black Panther franchise. Coogler said,

"Out of all of my actors, Chad's death actually hit Mike (Jordan) the hardest."

The Black Panther director continued talking about Boseman, who, according to him, has transformed his and Michael B. Jordan's lives in several ways. Coogler referred to him as a teacher and someone who taught him and Jordan about patience. The director added:

"He was the kind of teacher who you never knew you was getting a lesson when he taught. It was all by example and what he gave me and Michael was patience."

Coogler continued talking about how Boseman would arrive on set before time and was the kind of artist who moved "at an old-school pace." He recalled him not breaking character until it was a wrap. Coogler shared an interesting incident from back when they were shooting Black Panther. He recalled the time when a Disney executive visited the set during the production of the film and freaked out as Boseman was in character and speaking in his T'Challa accent.

Ryan Coogler praised Boseman and said:

"He was a fully baked man from the South. He was an old school man's man and compared to that dude when we worked together bro, me and Mike was kids."
