Cardi B welcomes a baby girl with Offset after their recent split.
Rapper Cardi B took to Instagram on September 12, 2024, to announce the birth of her third child, a baby girl, by posting a carousel of pictures from the hospital featuring Offset and her two other children. In the images, Cardi can be seen lying in the bed while Kulture (her first daughter) and Offset hold the baby in their arms.
She captioned the post with "prettiest lil thing" with pink flowers and sparkling heart emojis with the date 9/7/24, which means the baby was born on Saturday, September 9, 2024.
The rapper initially announced the pregnancy on August 1, 2024, hours after filing for divorce from her husband of almost six years on July 31, 2024. She posted an image of her baby bump in an Instagram post with the caption,
"With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!"
Cardi B reunites with estranged husband Offset for son's birthday party
Days before giving birth to her third child, a baby girl, Cardi B reunited with her estranged husband Offset on September 1, 2024, to celebrate their son Wave's third birthday party at the American Dream Water Park in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Cardi showed off her baby bump in a crop top and baggy jeans while her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, also made an appearance along with Offset's three children, Jordan, Kody, and Kalea, from previous relationships.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in September 2017 and welcomed their first baby, Kulture, in July 2018. However, a few months later, after rumors of Offset's infidelity made the waves online, Cardi took to social media to explain their break up, saying,
"I guess we grew out of love, but we're not together anymore. I don't know. It might take time to get a divorce and I'm gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father."
Things changed, and a month later, Cardi B reportedly told the press that the two were "working things out." However, the rapper filed for divorce from Offset in September 2020 before welcoming their second baby, Wave, in September 2021.
The couple worked on their marriage but finally called it quits again in December 2023 and filed for divorce on July 31, 2024.
