Captain America: Brave New World is all set to release on Feb 14, 2025, with the furious Red Hulk and Anthony Mackie's Captain America hoping to smash each other. So, the promotions are in full swing. With the same thought, the creative heads and executives at Marvel are bringing a forgotten Ant-Man character, back for a commercial. While many people may not remember him, the loyal Marvel fans will do!
The character is none other than Dale, the Baskin-Robbins manager in Ant-Man! Dale appears in the latest Tide commercials that are made to put a hilarious spin on the much-awaited Captain America project.
While Dale returns for a commercial, more MCU characters are returning this time around for Captain America: Brave New World. Of course, there is Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson, but Liv Tyler (Michael Bay's Armageddon) and Tim Blake Nelson (HBO's Watchmen) are also set to return to the MCU.
While they are reprising their previous roles, Harrison Ford is making a big splash as Marvel's new Thaddeus Ross, previously played by William Hurt. His Red Hulk has become a hot topic for Marvel fans since the teasers started dropping online. These teasers showed his volcanic transformation into the piping-hot monster.
Considering Hulk's size, it will be interesting to see how Captain America calms him down. As they get into a fight, something interesting happens - well, at least in the new commercial! Let's find out how Dale comes into the picture.
Captain America: Brave New World brings back Dale for a commercial
Captain America: Brave New World is set to release pretty soon. So, Marvel fans must be excited to see the big fight between Captain America and Red Hulk. Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson is stepping up as the new Captain and is hoping to use his vibranium shield and wings to fight the magnanimous Hulk.
But let's be real! The fight is going to be messy, no matter what. When Captain and Hulk smash each other, there is bound to be some collateral. With the same thought, Tide and Marvel studios decided to build a new campaign titled 'Collateral Stains' in connection with the iconic Brave New World fight.
It shows Captain and Hulk leading people in different kinds of messy situations. One of their collateral victims happens to be Dale, the Baskin-Robbins manager who briefly appears in two Ant-Man movies.
The ad, featuring Dale, uses a clip from Captain America: Brave New World, where Hulk beats Sam Wilson pretty badly and knocks him onto a car. Dale is shown as that car's driver, holding onto his Baskin-Robbins drink. Well, he can barely finish it as it splashes all over his shirt! That's where Tide comes in and swooshes out the stains and becomes 'the most powerful clean in any universe.'

Dale initially appeared in the 2015 movie, where he fires Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, because of his criminal past. Later, in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Dale reunites with Scott and honors him as Baskin-Robbins' employee of the century for his heroic work.
Captain America: Brave New World is also set to welcome back Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson as Dr Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns, respectively. They previously played these roles in 2008's The Incredible Hulk.
