Meek Mills's response left everyone bewildered after his reaction to Drake's lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG) about Kendrick Lamar's diss track 'They Not Like Us.' Mill's bewildered response has left the internet confused with one user commenting:
"Can somebody translate to English for me?"
This comes after Drake's lawsuit accused Universal Music Group (UMG) of defamation in connection with Kendrick Lamar's diss track 'They Not Like Us' reigniting his feud with the 'Hotline Bling' artist from 2015 when he accused Drake of using ghostwriters.
Battle rap legend Arsonal Da Rebel took to X to ask Mills about Drake's lawsuit against UMG. Referring to their 2015 feud, he tweeted:
"I WONDER HOW @MeekMill FEEL BOUT DRAKE SUING…….CAUSE N***** SAID THIS N THAT BOUT HIM…… DRAKE WENT ALL OUT ON MEEK"
In response to Da Rebel's tweet, Meek Mill shared his perspective and talked about his personal experiences from the feud back in 2015. The Philly rapper went on to tweet:
"Label told me don’t drop nothing… I went against that and dropped dc4 mixxtape ‘Shari Bryant backed me herself’ 90k first week to heat up, I couldn’t make any playlist either; that had me confused a lil losing confidence, but I knew 80% was campaign! Influence for the net only.”

The internet quickly reacted to this, with one user commenting:
“Can somebody translate this to English for me?” after reading the Philly rapper's tweet highlighting the confusion.

Following this other users on social media had mixed reactions, with many chiming in to share their thoughts. One user humorously attempted to decrypt his tweet by commenting:
"Translation: labels told him to hold the L. He didn’t listen and still sold 90k units. Also 80% of the beef campaign was influenced by the labels for the internet."
Another user confused, reacted to his tweet, adding:
"@Meek Mill I dare to ask that you speak plainly because The quote and your response just not clearing a connection for me. Like huh? What are your thoughts about Drake suing?"
Another user expressed their frustration of not understanding Mill's tweet by commenting:
"I get stupider everyone I read this n**** post"
Another user commented:
"For one of the better rappers of this generation, you really struggle to get your point across"
A user joined in on the joke about Mill's writing skills by saying:
"It’s crazy…meek is easily one of my favorites but he types like he’s still learning English. So frustrating"
However, not all poked fun at Mill's tweet, some also defended him. One user defended Mill by commenting:
"Of course it happens. Drake benefited from the label against you. You took your L like a man and moved on. I never understood how a singer bodied a battle rapper with back to back. Dot was ready and was the one doing back to back."
Another user added:
"I still think you won that beef because we forever questioned drakes pen after. He just out memed you. That ain’t winning a war."
Another user declared with passion:
"I knew this! Cause ain’t know damn way a Canadian with a ghost writer beat ROBERT RIHMEEK WILLIAMS in a RAP BATTLE"
Meek Mill later tweeted, showing his ability to bounce back from this:
"I'ma champ I loss many things I learn from them and move on, 2025 my team right now ima make a 100m off rap. Because I was in a system so long ima break that jawn I time for the 'mime'."
His tweet shows his determination to succeed despite obstacles and uncertainty. It reflects Meek Mill's resilience and commitment as an individual and an artist.
Meek Mill beyond the feud and Drake's UMG lifestyle.

Drake's lawsuit against UMG raised safety concerns in the music industry. Following Kendrick Lamar's diss song, 'Not Like Us, there were gunshots, break-in attempts, and harassment at Drake's Toronto residence, according to the complaint.
Drake alleges that UMG neglected his safety while making money off of his catalog. In reaction, UMG referred to the accusations as "nonsensical" and rejected them as unfounded.
While Drake's legal battles continue, Meek Mill has continued to build his brand, including his online store selling T-shirts and accessories. He talked about how much he has grown since he feuded with Drake in 2015.
