Meek Mill took to X on February 27, to announce that he will drop a new song titled Pizza Gate. His announcement comes two days after Mill slammed the IRS over a tweet on February 25.
Although Mill hasn't specified, online users have theorized that the song is the rapper's way to get back at the government after the IRS handed him a $2.8 million tax bill for his 2013 earnings of $2 million. Netizens took to the tweet's comment section saying:
"You just don’t know how to read the room lol" - a user disapproves of Mill's song title choice
"The day Jeffrey Epstein list drop. That’s smart" - another user mentioned
"You should have yr buddy Diddy record an intro collect call from prison" - another user suggested
"What about that Diddy list? 👀" - a user asks
"How do I fight that?" - Meek Mill slams IRS for heavy tax bill
Two days before announcing his new song Pizza Gate, Meek Mill took X on February 25, expressing frustration over his 2013 tax bill. Mill mentioned that the IRS had taxed him $2.8 million for $2 million earnings in 2013.
"IRS made me pay 2.8m from 2013 and I only made 2 million...how do I fight that? I been paying my taxes since I was 23 years old...paying damn near 3m out of your account randomly is stressful."
In August, 2024, Meek Mill took to social media to announce that he isn't endorsing anybody for the 2024 U.S. Presidential elections after reflecting on his time in Prison. While referring to Donald Trump, Mill said:
"He got shot at (and) basically put his middle finger up after (being) hit in the (ear). Nobody ran...(I) hope you get well, too. We get shot at a lot! (He) got indicted (and is) still running for president! Who is this guy?"
He then went on to clarify that he's "not endorsing anybody" since he knows "nothing about politics." Mill had also questioned Harris for her role as District Attorney of San Francisco.
