Online streamer, Kai Cenat, appeared to have fun at the 2025 Grammy Awards. During a recent livestream, he shared with his fans that he faced difficulty entering the venue as the security did not allegedly let him enter. According to the streamer, they only allowed him entry after Will and Jaden Smith posed for photos with him.
Cenat seemed to dislike the behavior as he said he hated such situations. Netizens shared their reactions in a clip shared on X by @scubaryan_. While many backlashed the security, others commented that it was protocol. An X user wrote:
“Bro had to unlock VIP access like it was a side quest.”
Social media users criticized the security for seemingly disparaging Kai Cenat, as they called him the greatest Twitch streamer.
“Bro got humbled. The security was doing his job, Kai don't know nothing about that,” a person commented.
“No way security didn’t know the biggest streamer on twitch lmaooo,” a netizen reacted.
“That's crazy! Will and Jaden really came through for him!” an online commentator suggested.
Netizens justified the security people’s actions saying Cenat’s fan base comprised children and not adults.
“Kai Cenat has crazy motion,” a social media user wrote.
“That’s wild! even celebrities have to play nice sometimes. imagine the photos they could've taken! what would you ask them if you had the chance?” a netizen asked.
“I mean his viewerbase is literal children so why would they know him? no actual grown men watch him,” an internet user opined.
Will Smith shared photos with Kai Cenat on Instagram
On February 3, 2025, Will Smith shared photos of his interaction with Kai Cenat at the Grammy Awards on Instagram, captioning:
“Unc has entered the chat.”
When the streamer learned about that during the live stream, he couldn’t believe his eyes and took a quick run of the room. His reaction was:
“What are you all talking about, gang? Will Smith. Bomboclatt! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!”
He continued:
“I can’t even comment. Oh my Gosh! Oh my God! Will Smith just posted me.”
When Kai Cenat met Will Smith at the Grammy Awards, the latter greeted him with a hug. The streamer asked how he was feeling, to which Smith replied:
“All is in divine order.”
The Bad Boys actor asked Cenat whether he liked what he was doing, which was followed by a light-hearted exchange. However, Will Smith then went ahead and fixed Kai Cenat’s bow tie.
In an interview with Access Hollywood at the award ceremony, Cenat was asked how he felt about holding the title of the greatest streamer in the world. He said he did not feel much responsibility for that title, as it was for the audience to determine.
The interviewer then asked whether he wanted to know why people were drawn to him. Cenat said he was clueless about it as he said he carries on with his streaming in his basement, adding that it was all about doing 'himself.'
