Beyoncé opened her much-awaited Cowboy Carter tour in Los Angeles, on April 28, 2025. The tour consists of over 32 shows across nine cities. However, at the tour's inauguration, there were also reports of a scuffle among fans at the venue.
According to an exclusive report by The Daily Mail, female fans at the VIP section of SoFi Stadium got involved in a verbal altercation, which turned physical.
When the show ended, a group of women got into a heated argument near the exits. One woman in cowboy boots tried to walk away, but another knocked her hat off. A third woman stepped in to control the situation.
The same woman who hit the hat then pushed someone else to the ground and knocked her down again when she tried to get up. More women got involved, and another person was also shoved to the ground.
Meanwhile, a man stepped in to try and stop the fight between the women. In the background, one person joked about there being a second show after Beyoncé’s concert, while another pointed out that someone had been assaulted. The cause of the argument wasn’t clear.
The singer’s daughters, Blue Ivy Carter and Rumi, performed with her at the show. Over 3,000 seats were still open at SoFi Stadium, based on Ticketmaster’s seating chart.
People online pointed out that some resale tickets were going for as little as $20, about the same price as a special Minecraft-themed Big Mac Meal from McDonald's.
