The LA wildfires did not have mercy on anyone but reportedly spared Sean Diddy Comb’s mansion. Of the six or seven fires burning across LA, the Pacific Palisades fire destroyed the homes of many celebrities.
According to social media reports, Combs’ mansion remained unaffected with Oprah Winfrey and Tom Hanks’ residences. Spanning 17,000 square feet, the rapper’s mansion has a value of over $61 million. The house has eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms along with a 35-seat theatre, guesthouse, and a swimming tunnel.
As the news went viral, social media users’ reactions became quite prominent. One X user wrote:
“Interesting. Big crime scene spared. You are watching a movie and it is f*cking good, too.”
Netizens speculated that this was a sign that the evidence was intact:
“Preserving evidence? Smells white-hatty,” an online user suggested.
“Good thing Diddy's place is still there. Earlier reporting said it was gone along with evidence,” a social media user opined.
While social media users hoped to get a tour of the house, others wrote that there was no way that the rapper’s mansion would be affected by the LA wildfires given its location:
“Maybe one day we will get a live video tour what’s really under those homes,” a person anticipated.
“Ok this is stupid cuz his house isn’t close to the fires. It’s on the other side of the 405,” an internet user pointed out.
“This post is misleading. Diddys house is so much farther east than where the fire is currently. The fire would have to go through Brentwood jump the 405 freeway and through Bel Air to get to Diddys house,” an X user noted.
What do the conspiracy theories suggest about Diddy’s remaining untouched by the LA wildfires?
A conspiracy theory, promoted by Catherine Austin Fitts, suggests that wildfires destroying celebrity homes may be linked to covering up crimes, such as Combs's alleged misconduct.
Fitts speculated that the fires might have been triggered deliberately from advanced platforms, referencing past manipulations she claims to have witnessed during her tenure. She said:
“What I usually look at in situations like this is I look at the patterns of who got wiped out and how. And, you know, one of the first questions, I will be honest that I am going to look at when I look at some of the communities involved is how many of the homeowners were on the P. Diddy list?”
According to reports, the so-called "Diddy List" is a rumored roster of celebrities linked to his parties, allegedly involving events referred to as “Freak-Offs.”
Over time, Combs' well-known connections with stars like Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Ashton Kutcher, Mariah Carey, and Leonardo DiCaprio have been widely reported. Paris Hilton, also mentioned in the list, lost her Malibu home in the LA wildfires.
Fitts pointed out that the prolonged drought and poor land management contributed to the fires, speculating they might have been intentionally coordinated. While acknowledging a mix of natural and human-made causes, she emphasized that the patterns observed strongly suggest arson.
