Beyonce's NFL Christmas Halftime Show was a massive hit. The Guardian thinks so, the fans think so, and the internet thinks so. The event took place in Houston, Texas, on Christmas Day, and the singer galloped onto the stage on a horse, wearing a white gown and a cowboy hat, and opened with 16 Carriages.

Now, fans are worried for Kendrick Lamar, as he is slated to follow suit by performing at the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans this February 9. As reported by For The Win by USA Today, "He has a tough act to follow after Beyoncé put on such a memorable show in Houston, though."

Fans have since begun echoing the sentiments, and while some have expressed concern about the rapper withstanding the pressure, others have boldly declared that K.dot will fare just as well, if not better. Regardless, Beyonce's production has been generating massive buzz online. Here's how one user reacted:

"Beyonce production is next level."

When one user, @LowKeyUHTN tweeted that Kendrick had his "work cut out for him on February 9," users replied with mixed sentiments:

"Still can’t believe Beyoncé did that for a regular season game lls. She really the (goat emoji)" one added.
"Dot is about to have everybody mouth on the floor..just wait, and it’s gonna be EXTRA BLACK," someone else defended.
"Easy work. He still gon kill it," yet another declared.

The chatter didn't end there, and while a few claimed it would be next to impossible for K.Dot to prove himself better than Beyonce, others expressed favorable opinions:

"Well no but he’ll be good," someone stated.
"And do! Beyoncé is in a whole other stratosphere though. We don’t really expect others to over exert themselves trying to keep up. I’m sure Kdot will put on an excellent show. Saw him on the D.A.M.N. tour & it was great!" another tweeted.
"I was thinking the same thing. Beyonce set the standard wayyy too high," one user chimed in.
"In reference to Beyoncé? Apples and oranges bruh. Just enjoy the show without comparison," a fourth user advised.

While sentiments were mixed, users expressed how Beyonce had set the bar high.

A quick look at Beyonce's halftime show, lovingly dubbed "Beyonce Bowl" by the internet

During her first televised performance in four years, Beyonce was joined onstage by several prominent figures, including her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, Post Malone, Shaboozey, and more.

She debuted tracks from her album Cowboy Carter for the first time, and the show began with 16 Carriages before segueing into Blackbiird, which she co-harmonized with Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, and Brittney Spencer.

She then rendered the live edition of Ya Ya before her daughter came up on stage for My House. She then exercised her vocal prowess for Riiverdance and Sweet Honey Buckiin’ before Shaboozey came forth to sing out his chunk of the track. Post Malone then joined her, and the two harmonized on Levii’s Jeans.

Just before she delivered the live rendition of Texas Hold ‘Em, she addressed the crowd: I’m so honored to be in Texas right now,” she said. “It’s only right that we do ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ for the first time in Houston, Texas on Christmas. Y’all help me sing!”

The 32-year-old ended her set with a vote of thanks to everyone, wishing them a "Merry Christmas" and a "God Bless you." She isn't a stranger to performing at a large-scale NFL event, though, as in the past, she has performed at the 2013 Super Bowl in New Orleans. She even joined Coldplay and Bruno Mars for their stints at the 2016 games.
