A source has informed Page Six that Beyoncé and Jay-Z are considering taking legal action against rapper Kanye West after he used derogatory words to describe the couple's twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, 7, in a now-deleted tweet. The source mentioned that the couple "will absolutely not stand for it" after West "has spoken about their children in such a vulgar manner."

Kanye West took to X on March 18, asking if people had seen the couple's younger kids. West also alleged that the couple used IVF to conceive the children.

"WAIT HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN JAY-Z AND BEYONCE'S YOUNGER KIDS THEY'RE R******D. NO LIKE LITERALLY AND THIS IS WHY ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION IS SUCH A BLESSING HAVING RE***** CHILDREN IS A CHOICE"

West reportedly does not regret his tweet or the choice of words he used, and he posted another tweet about being "mad" for having to take it down.

"SOMEBODY FROM MY MUSIC TEAM CALLED ME AND BEGGED ME TO TAKE IT DOWN....I'M SOOOO MAD I TOOK THAT DOWN."

In another tweet he mentioned,

"I need everyone to know that I took the post about Jay Z and Beyonce's family down...because there was a possibility of my Twitter being cancelled."

Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles allegedly responds to Kanye West's rant about her grandchildren

Hours after Kanye West's derogatory comments about Beyoncé and Jay-Z's 7-year-old twins went viral on the internet, Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, shared a video on Instagram. Knowles was dressed in a red tracksuit and noted that she wanted to share a "corny" joke:

"So I'm on the set of a photoshoot today for my book, and I wanted to tell you a corny joke."

She then went on to add,

"What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum? He has a meltdown. Y'all know that's funny."

She also mentioned that "it's hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil" and added, "no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper."

However, West's X rant did not stop after he deleted his tweet about the twins. He took to X again in what seemed like an effort at damage control. In the following tweets, West mentioned that he loved Jay-Z and was hurt by the rapper's decision to skip his first wedding to ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

He added that he felt both Jay-Z and his wife could have helped him "have more leverage" with his kids and that they could have "used their cultural position to not just watch the Kardashians run" him over.
