The Oscar-nominated actress is not new to the action genre. She has already proven her chops in films like No Time to Die, Ghosted, and The Gray Man. However, Ballerina allowed her to enter the world of John Wick and train with Reeves. When asked about this experience, she told Discussing Film,

"The fight with Keanu, I think...was one of my favorite things during the rehearsal process and on the few days it took us to shoot that scene. It was wonderful."

She further added,

"It was a very special moment for me, personally, because I admire Keanu very much as an actor and in this franchise too and as a friend. So, it was great to be on set with him, doing this epic fight together."

Ballerina: Ana de Armas shares screen with Keanu Reeves in the latest trailer

Keanu Reeves has had a long and successful career. From being the star of The Matrix to being the kind-hearted idol adored on social media, he has stood the test of time. John Wick gave his career a new wind.

Now, Ana de Armas is set to enter the universe, synonymous with Reeves for his fans. The latest Ballerina trailer offers plenty of hope that she will take it to new heights. It shows Eve and John sharing a few moments before the storm.

The two stars have co-starred in two thrillers, Eli Roth's Knock Knock and Gee Malik Linton's Exposed. However, Ballerina offers them a chance to appear in a project of a much bigger scale and scope. When asked by IGN about her working experience with Reeves, Armas offered nothing but praise for her co-star. She called him "a leader and force on set" and further added,

“His creativity and input during the rehearsal is always so inspiring, he knows these films better than anyone and I loved having him by my side. When I saw him walking on set dressed as John, it was pretty surreal. I’ll never forget that day. Keanu has always been a huge influence on me, since the day we met. I never imagined I was going to work with him again; and here we are, living a really cool full circle moment.”

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is scheduled to be in theaters from June 6 onwards.
