Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) Avengers: Doomsday is already shaping up to be a big-budget monster as new reports come to light. The film, alongside Avengers: Secret Wars, will conclude the Multiverse Saga in a back-to-back release currently scheduled to be in 2026 and 2027.

We already have Robert Downey Jr. as Victor Von Doom in the film, with prospects of character appearances like Deadpool or Avenger Prime. It was the big lineup we saw in Avengers: Endgame, which cost the creators somewhere around $400 million.

Now, according to Forbes' Caroline Reid, Avengers: Doomsday's pre-production budget has already tripled Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which was estimated to have a total production budget of $330 million. As for Doomsday, the creators have spent $8 million already.

Russo Brothers' AGBO is producing Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars

For the first time, Russo Brothers are producing a Marvel Cinematic Universe film via their independent studio, AGBO. Recently, the company produced The Electric State which boasted a $320 million budget. However, it disappointed the fans and critics alike.

Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, both will be produced by AGBO. Previously, it has produced some critically acclaimed films, including the Oscar winner, Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022), Assassination Nation (2018), and more.

While the upcoming films are the confirmed projects by the studio in the following couple of years, it is working on other projects including a live-action Hercules film by Guy Ritchie, a film adaptation of Alex North's novel adapted series, The Whisper Man starring Robert De Niro and Michelle Monaghan, and more.

Russo Brothers are also creating separate film universes via AGBO under the guise of AGBOverse which holds IPs to franchises like Extraction, Citadel, and The Gray Man.

For AGBO, the MCU films are a serious game, as audiences globally are eagerly waiting to see what lies ahead for the Avengers franchise. In their last attempt, they gave us the biggest comic-based live-action scene in Avengers: Endgame via the portals scene.

That said, we may see a bigger thing in Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars but the details are kept real tight. Though someone revealed concept art featuring different Marvel superheroes, the Russo Brothers denied that they were not official.

Additionally, crossovers like this are gaining popularity, especially when Marvel's rival DC is concerned. According to James Gunn, he too is reportedly planning to do something like that.
