Sigourney Weaver has also been all praises for Anya Taylor-Joy as an actor, as she states:

"Anya Taylor-Joy needs no tips for me to play anything"
"Drasa, as played by Anya is particularly unique. And she just goes for it. She just plays the hell out of it, and has, I think, great fun doing it."

While speaking to Games Radar, Weaver also commended James Cameron for his vision about his progressive outlook in the portrayal of women in his films, imploring him to check out Anya Taylor-Joy's performance in The Gorge for his Avatar film series.

However, in Anya Taylor-Joy's recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor was asked about what she felt about Sigourney Weaver's thoughts about Anya Taylor-Joy joining the Avatar family.

Upon hearing that, Anya Taylor-Joy was thrilled in her response, and the first word she joyfully uttered was, "Dead."

She proceeded to disclose the fact that she had been harboring this dream of essaying the role of a Na'vi in the Avatar film franchise.

Given the fact that Anya Taylor-Joy shows enthusiasm for playing a part in the Avatar film franchise, it would be a thing of immense excitement and intrigue for both Taylor-Joy and Avatar fans alike to watch her in the role of a Na'vi woman.
