Kai Cenat was among the attendees of the 2025 Grammys in Los Angeles. The streamer looked dapper in his black tuxedo on the red carpet while streaming the event live from the Crypto.com Arena.
Kai Cenat interacted with many celebrities during his Grammys stream, including Ye, Will Smith, Trevor Noah, Doechii, Cardi B, Miley Cyrus, and many more. However, Cenat’s interaction with Billie Eilish was probably his most memorable moment from the event. The YouTuber shared his experience at the Grammys and talked about meeting Eilish, who recognized him straightaway,
“Billie comes walking back, right? When she came walking back, chat, I say… Just like this I’m sitting right here. Billie’s walking back. I say, ‘Billie.’ She say,’Kai?’ I say, ‘You know me?’ Her brother Finneas say, ‘Thank you so much, you show so much love to her.’”
Kai added,
“I said, ‘Bro, I love all your s**t. Can we get a picture?’ She says, ‘F**k yeah.’ I put my phone down. When I put my phone down, I snap it, just like this [Kai and Billie’s picture together], and the rest was history.”
After the clip from Cenat’s stream went viral, netizens gave their reactions to Eilish recognizing the streamer and conversing with him. A user wrote,
“Billie Eilish> Taylor Swift, at least she doesn't have an ego.”
The comment referenced how Cenat could not initially get Taylor Swift’s attention at the Grammys. For the unversed, the YouTuber screamed Taylor’s name during his Grammys stream while she walked away in another direction, seemingly snubbing him.

Kai Cenat finally got Taylor Swift to react at the award night
As mentioned earlier, Kai, who seemingly went unnoticed by Taylor Swift, got the singer to react. Cenat was streaming ahead of the event when he saw Swift seemingly walking toward the venue with her team. He screamed her name, but the singer went in the other direction.
Later, the YouTuber again saw The Tortured Poets Department singer but was again unable to reach her. In his stream, Kai narrated,
“Somebody comes by. She has a red dress on [hinting at Taylor Swift]. She walks past. I go up, ‘Taylor, Taylor, Taylor, Taylor.’ Nothing. Nothing. This is all for my assistant, by the way. I’m trying to make sure that my assistant gets something. You feel me? Brianna knows all the Taylor Swift lore. Bro, Brianna lives, breathes,... Like bro, she’s the biggest Swifty I know. You feel me?”
Kai Cenat said that he got another opportunity but couldn’t get past Swift’s security,
“When she passed by it was cool. She passes by again, I go down. It’s probably a video out there. I got denied. Her security did not make… Like she didn’t even hear me like her security said, ‘No.’ You feel me? Security said, ‘No.’ We got to keep moving, right? I’m like okay, it’s cool, it’s cool.”
Ultimately, Kai Cenat got a shoutout for his assistance. As Swift walked past him again, Cenat, who was filming the moment, asked her to say hi to Brianna.
