Kidada was born on March 22, 1974. Her younger sister, Rashida, was born two years later, on February 25, 1976. Quincy Jones shared the two daughters with his third wife, The Mod Squad actress Peggy Lipton.

Kidada’s relationship with Tupac Shakur
One of the most significant life events in Kidada's life is her relationship with rapper Tupac Shakur, and it possibly remains one of the most iconic. The two began dating at the turn of 1996, and though initially shaky due to Tupac's interracial family issues with her father, things soon took a serious turn after he apologized to her in a bar. They then got engaged.
In her father's autobiography, Kidada called him “the love of my life”. The two were together for around four months before Tupac was assassinated on September 13, 1996.
