More about Joseph Quinn and Doja Cat's relationship history
Joseph Quinn and Doja Cat have been in a relationship since last year. The couple were first spotted in August 2024, while casually walking down a London street. Later that month, they attended a performance by the American Rock Band Osees and were later spotted at a nearby club, as reported by Vulture.
Previously, in 2022, the "Paint the Town Red" singer had privately messaged Quinn's then seventeen-year-old Stranger Things costar, Noah Schapp, enquiring about the actor. Schapp later posted the private conversation on TikTok. This led the "Kiss Me More" singer to address the situation on Instagram Live.
"Noah is a kid. When you’re that young, you make mistakes. The fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and wack. That’s like borderline snake shit, that’s like weasel shit. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing.”
In an interview with Variety, Schnapp also clarified the situation. He said:
"I'm super unserious on social media and pretty goofy, so I posted that not thinking too much of it, but obviously it hurt her feelings. So, as I should, I apologized and she was totally okay with it and was like, "I'm sorry how I reacted." It was all good. I love her. I'm, like, the biggest fan of her music, and I told her that."
In August 2024, during her performance at the iHeart Radio Music Festival, Doja Cat flashed what appeared to be an engagement ring, sparking a frenzy on social media as fans speculated that the couple was engaged.
The "Say So" singer later cleared up the confusion in a now deleted post, stating that she was not engaged.
"No, im not engaged its a David Yurman ring with no rocks in it."
Joseph Quinn will portray Johnny Storm in the upcoming "Marvel Doomsday" movie. He will be joined by his other "Fantastic Four" teammates that includes, Pedro Pascal, as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm.
