Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is once again at the centre of another legal issue as his ex-partner, Alexandria Descrohes, filed a new paternity case besides his ongoing legal battle involving his other ex-girlfriend, Ayesha Howard.

Alexandria Descroches, whose real name is Ally D., filed a paternity and child support lawsuit in New York on March 13, 2025, alleging that Anthony Edwards is the biological father of her son, who was born in October 2023. According to court records from In Touch Weekly and Us Weekly, Descroches claimed that Edwards' NBA paycheck with the Minnesota Timberwolves is his main source of income.
According to In Touch, Edwards filed his own paternity action in Georgia on March 21, claiming that the jurisdiction should belong to Georgia and not New York.
The legal battle swiftly grew into a complicated jurisdictional conflict that went beyond paternity and financial support. According to Anthony Edwards, the kid was “conceived and born in Georgia” and “all interactions between [Anthony] and [Alexandria] took place in Georgia.” In her motion to have the Georgia lawsuit dismissed, Descroches, however, denied this.
His child's mother, Alexandria Descroches, claimed that the child was conceived not in Georgia but in Minnesota. In February 2024, she and her son moved to New York. where she has lived ever since. Before Edwards' filing, the child had been out of Georgia for six consecutive months.
Al Hedayati, her attorney, stressed that Georgia lacked jurisdiction under child custody rules since the mother and child had established domicile in New York for more than a year. Hedayati's statement:
“She is raising a child as a single mother and has an open-door policy for [Anthony] to see the child.”
Allegations against Anthony Edwards
Descroches described her encounter with Anthony Edwards in an interview with In Touch. According to her, they started dating after meeting in 2020. She said that when she told him she was pregnant, Edwards told her to "not be messy" and provided no emotional support.
Despite having an "open door policy" that welcomes him to visit, Descroches accused Edwards of not seeing their now one-year-old child. Additionally, according to her court documents, she is requesting a formal child support agreement, reimbursement for pregnancy and postnatal costs, and payment for daycare and insurance, despite Edwards reportedly having offered very limited financial assistance.
Anthony Edwards' ongoing paternity issues with Ayesha Howard
At the same time, Anthony Edwards is involved in yet another court battle with influencer Ayesha Howard, who is the mother of his October 2024-born daughter, Aubri Summers.
Howard was granted temporary sole legal and physical custody of his daughter, Aubri, in April 2025 as the DNA tests confirmed Edwards as the biological father. In addition to attorney fees, Howard is also requesting child support and payment for her pregnancy-related costs.
Edwards has asked for a hearing to establish legal financial responsibilities. Although Edwards has acknowledged some financial obligation, according to court filings, he is not currently requesting custody or visitation rights for his daughter Aubri.
Anthony Edwards has been connected to further paternity rumors, which are further complicating his matters. In September 2023, Daja, a beauty influencer, is said to have given birth to Aris, Edwards's alleged daughter, according to Page Six.
In the month of July 2024, according to a US magazine, a woman named Ally D came forward and accused Edwards of neglecting her son Amir, who was born shortly before his daughter with Shannon Jackson.
In March 2024, Shannon Jackson, Edwards' longtime girlfriend that he has been dating since 2020, gave birth to his daughter Aislynn. Despite the legal issues surrounding Edwards, he has not publicly addressed the claims regarding Daja and Amir, and his relationship with Jackson seems to be going strong.

Despite all this going on in his personal life, Anthony Edwards is rocking in the NBA right now, after scoring 43 points, 6 assists, and 9 rebounds in the Western Conference quarterfinals against LeBron's LA Lakers, taking it to game 5.
