Amazon MGM releases official clip of A Working Man
Amazon MGM has recently released an official clip from their upcoming film A Working Man, providing a sneak peek into the world. The nearly one-minute-long video starts off with Levon Cade (Jason Statham) being informed that Jenny is missing. Joe Garcia, her father, informs that she went out with her friends and did not return home. Cade is informed that the parents spoke to the cops, who refused to work on her case.
The parents ask him for help in finding Jenny. In response, Cade says that he is a different person now, which is also the title of the video. In a short clip, the makers manage to establish that Cade has left his earlier profession and is doing something else. But the situations will force him to become his earlier self.
A Working Man is about Levon Cade, who used to be a commando for the Royal Marines but is now working as a construction worker. The producers of the film include Statham, David Ayer, Stallone, Bill Block, Chris Long, John Friedberg, and Kevin King Templeton. It will be released on March 28, 2025, by Amazon MGM Studios and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The international release is being handled by Warner Bros. Pictures.
In an interview with IGN, Ayer revealed how faithful A Working Man is to the original source material. He said,
"The character Levon is ripped directly from the novel. The circumstances are similar but we wanted to have some fun with Jenny’s character."
The director also spoke about his experience of co-writing A Working Man with Sylvester Stallone.
"Sly gave me an amazing starting point and was incredibly collaborative. He managed to find a cinematic arc within Chuck Dixon’s book. It was a pleasure to collaborate with such a lauded writer."
Michael Peña, David Harbour, Maximilian Osinski, Cokey Falkow, Noemi Gonzalez, Arianna Rivas, Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, Eve Mauro, and Jason Statham are the main cast members of A Working Man.
