Adamantium is introduced in Marvel in a new teaser for Captain America: Brave New World

As the release date for Marvel's Captain America: Brave New World gets closer, more and more teasers and trailers are being released to give fans an inkling of everything they can expect from the film. So far, we have seen visuals of Red Hulk, scenes of action and destruction, the inclusion of brand new characters, and more. In the latest teaser released by the studio, we see adamantium being introduced as "the most versatile metal in the world."

The teaser released on February 2, 2025, sees Thaddeus Ross unveiling adamantium as he talks about how it was discovered. The teaser sees him saying:

“When the Celestial Mass emerged, we squabbled over it. What was found inside that island is a discovery of millennia. I present to you Adamantium. We can’t let this get into the wrong hands.”

Adamantium is a fictional element in Marvel and is mostly famous for being the substance that Wolverine possesses in his claws and skeleton.

Later on in the trailer, we see more shots of Thaddeus Ross, aka Red Hulk, as he goes into full destroy mode. We also get a glimpse at the new Falcon, who will be taking over the hero's responsibilities after Sam Wilson. With less than two weeks to go before the film's release, the addition of newer elements from the original comics has increased fans' excitement for the film.

More details on Captain America: Brave New World

Captain America: Brave New World will be Sam Wilson's debut as Captain America as he takes over the responsibilities of Steve Rogers, the first Avenger who served as Captain America for decades. Previously known as the Falcon, Wilson now owns the iconic Captain America shield as he protects the world and faces new enemies in the film. The film will also introduce Thaddeus Ross' Red Hulk for the first time as the antihero makes his debut on screen.

The official plot synopsis of Captain America: Brave New World says:

"Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident after meeting with President Thaddeus Ross. He must soon discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red."

Wilson has also opened up on the film and what to expect from it. It's the first time the actor is leading a film with his character, and he describes the experience as being his Oscar moment. Speaking to Esquire, he said:

“Captain America is my Oscar. Because I’ve been overlooked so many times in my career.”

He also teased fans on what to expect from the new film as he added his own words of review for Captain America: Brave New World and said:

“It’s literally the best movie it can be. It stays in the lines of Marvel. It stays in the lines of Captain America, and it’s fun and it’s big.”

Captain America: Brave New World will hit screens on February 14, 2025.
