Actor Ashton Kutcher is reportedly not being investigated by federal authorities, despite concerns that he might be pulled into Sean Diddy Combs’ legal trouble. His friendship with the rap mogul faced intense scrutiny following the rapper's recent arrest. Nonetheless, sources close to Kutcher emphasized that he had no idea about Combs’ activities.
As per the sources, like many in the entertainment industry, Ashton Kutcher once attended a party hosted by the music mogul. According to an insider:
“Ashton absolutely regrets his friendship with Diddy considering what has happened. He feels lied to, betrayed, taken for granted, and manipulated.”
Ashton Kutcher reportedly shared similar feelings about Danny Masterson and has decided to keep his inner circle limited to family. The actor and his wife Mila Kunis were criticised in October 2023 after they wrote in support of Masterson. The backlash led the couple to issue a public apology through a joint statement.
Since Combs' arrest, much attention has focused on his freak-offs, described as s*xual or*ies involving his alleged female victims and male escorts. Despite this, the source dismissed any suggestion that Ashton Kutcher may have attended these events.
The insider also mentioned that Kutcher was upset with the rapper when hotel surveillance footage from 2016 emerged, showing him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. As per the insider:

Ashton Kutcher was reportedly worried that Diddy might make false allegations against him
As per a TMZ report, Ashton Kutcher was reportedly concerned that the rapper might make false claims against him to reduce his jail time. However, sources mentioned that the actor had nothing to be concerned about. As per the representative:
“He feels Diddy would have no problem lying to authorities and tossing out some of his famous friend’s names if it meant it could get him out of jail. Diddy could say anything, do anything or turn on anyone at this point. Everyone who is close to Diddy fears the possibility of Diddy making up false allegations to clear his own name”
When federal prosecutors revealed the indictment in September 2024, they allegedly indicated they were considering charging additional individuals connected to Combs' alleged crimes. However, no further charges have been filed so far.
During a 2018 appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Combs shared that Ashton Kutcher's MTV show Punk'd, which the actor hosted from 2003 to 2007, was how their friendship began.
Combs recalled reaching out to Kutcher, expressing concerns about being featured on the show and suggesting they agreed instead. He admitted he was apprehensive after seeing Kanye West's intense episode, which he described as becoming dangerous.
