Jeremy Allen White won the 82nd Golden Globes Award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy on television for his role in The Bear. Adam Brody, Ted Danson, Steve Martin, Jason Segel, and Martin Short were among the formidable opponents he faced. This impressive win is a massive validation of Jeremy's brilliant performance and unbelievable devotion to his craft.
He won his third consecutive win for playing the role of Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto in the hit show The Bear for FX. The Bear led the television contenders to the maximum in the running count of their names in the ceremony with five mentions. It was followed by Only Murders in the Building and Shogun, with four each.
Jeremy Allen White wins his third consecutive Golden Globe award
Jennifer Coolidge presented the award for this category in the 82nd Golden Globes Award that the 33-year-old won. As Jeremy Allen could not attend the ceremony in Los Angeles, the 63-year-old actress accepted the award on his behalf. She went on to say:
"could not be here tonight, so I'm gonna accept this award on his behalf."
For this show, this was his third win in this category. With this latest win at the Golden Globes, he now shares the prestigious company of Michael J. Fox and Alan Alda, who have also been awarded Best Actor in a Comedy on TV for three consecutive years.
More about Jeremy Allen White
Currently, as per reports, White is in the last stages of filming the biopic of Bruce Springsteen, Deliver Me From Nowhere, in New York and New Jersey states. The singer lauded Jeremy's attempt at portraying him in a movie based on his life. While talking to Sirius XM’s E Street Radio, he unveiled:
“Jeremy is such a terrific actor that you just fall right into it. He’s got an interpretation of me that I think the fans will deeply recognize and he’s just done a great job. I’ve had a lot of fun being on the set when I can get there.”
Jeremy Allen White is barely getting a chance to catch his breath! While the Golden Globe award is still fresh, it almost seems like the actor will be diving back into kitchen mode as Carmy in The Bear. As per the reports, production on the fourth season of the show will commence in chilly Chicago next month, and we can't wait to see what's cooking.
The last three seasons have premiered in June, so the cast and crew will need to get back to work to keep that streak alive. Jeremy knows this and surely gets ready to bring the heat (and culinary magic) to our screens.
