Kanye West has reportedly lost a $20 million deal to play two shows in Tokyo Dome in May, after the rapper showed up to the 67th Grammy's on January 2 with his wife Bianca Censori. Kanye and Bianca's presence at the musical awards event raised a lot of eyebrows when Bianca took off her fur coat in front of the paparazzi to reveal her outfit; a sheer skin colored mini dress without undergarments underneath.
A source while speaking to Daily Meal mentioned that with his Grammy stunt, the singer might have missed the Japan deal since the act offended the investors that were funding his concerts in Japan. The source went on to explain that Japan is having a "cultural awakening about women's rights" and called Kanye's actions "an act of coercive control which is utterly unacceptable."
"“He has completely culturally misjudged Japan. He has greatly misjudged the tolerance of the Japanese people toward these activities. He’s just not welcome anymore. This will be a big blow for him because he has been living in Japan for around a year now, almost full time, and I guess he did not see this coming."
The source also added that Kanye West and Bianca's act was "creepy beyond belief." Kanye has been rumored to have moved to Japan recently with his wife, Bianca.
"This was utterly disrespectful to the Grammys" - say Kanye West's American colleagues
Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori left the Grammys right after their red carpet walk and were pictured getting into a waiting limo. The couple left after posing in front of billboards asking for charitable donations to help people who have lost their homes and lives in the LA wildfires in January.
While reacting to Bianca seemingly posing almost naked in front of the cameras, one of Kanye West's American colleagues said,
"This was totally disrespectful to the Grammys. To pull a stunt at what is essentially a fundraiser and in context of what has been going on in LA is most inconceivable stupod, crass and wrong."
The source also added,
"It's a **** up on huge scale, but all that Kanye is interested in at the moment is launching his cryptocurrency, and everything else seems to pass him by."
Bianca Censori has been under fire for a while for her bold choice of outfits. The Australian designer/model has appeared at multiple public events in almost near-to-nothing clothes. LA-based lawyer Andra Oguntula, while speaking to Page Six, noted that while it's theoretically possible for Bianca to face legal consequences for her Grammys outfit, it is highly unlikely.
