Mr. Crocket is Hulu's latest addition to its horror film collection. The 1 hour 28 minutes long film released on October 11, 2024 on the platform. The film is one of many to be featured in Hulu's annual "Huluween" festival during the spooky month.
The film is set in 1993. The plot is about a mother who finds a VHS tape named Mr. Crocket's World outside her house. Not knowing the horrors the tape contains, the mother's son, Major begins to watch the tape.

Mr. Crocket, the children's show host comes out of the television and abducts Major just like he has been kidnapping other children and murdering their parents. Determined to get her son back, Major's mother does anything and everything to defeat the demonic host and get her son home.
The film is directed by Brandon Espy. It is an extended edition of the short film that Brandan Espy made for Bite size Halloween, a Hulu series. The writers of the film are Brandon Espy and Carl Reid.

1) Elvis Nolasco as Mr. Crocket
Elvis Nolasco plays the titular character in the film. He is an American actor who is known for his work in Godfather of Harlem, She's Gotta Have It, David Makes Man and American Crime.
In the film, Nolasco embodies Mr. Crocket, a demonic children's show host who abducts children and kills their parents and whisks them away to a hellish world.
2) Jerrika Hinton as Summer
Jerrika Hinton plays the role of Summer, who is Major's mother. Her character sets out to get her son back home after he is taken by the evil children's show host. An American actress, Jerrika Hinton is known for her role as Stephanie Edwards in the show Grey's Anatomy.
She is also known for her roles in The Piano Lesson, A Man in Full, Hunters, Here and Now, A Christmas Kiss, Odius, Teacher of the Year, The Roommate and Doxxed.
3) Ayden Gavin as Major
Ayden Gavin is a young actor who plays the role of Major in the film. He begins to watch the VHS tape titled Mr. Crocket's World and gets kidnapped by Mr. Crocket himself when he crawls out of the TV.
Ayden Gavin is known for his roles in the film Big George Foreman where he played young Foreman. He has also worked in TV series such as Killing It, where he played young Isaiah and Sacrifice, where he acted as Sean Green.
4) Kristolyn Lloyd as Rhonda
Kristolyn Lloyd plays the role of Rhonda in this Hulu film. Lloyd is an Emmy award and Grammy winning actress, writer, and director. She is known for her work off and on Broadway.

5) Alex Akpobome as Eddie
Alex Akpobome plays the role of Eddie in the film. He is known for his work in Based on A True Story, Twenties, Industry, and For all Mankind.
He has studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
