The band elaborated on the residency in a press statement on October 3, 2024, stating:

"Mötley Crüe and Las Vegas have always been the perfect combination of extravagance and decadence. We’ve always loved the idea of the Vegas residency, because we’ve always loved the idea of staying in one location to build a unique show for the fans."

The statement continued:

"We’re excited to get into rehearsals and work up a lot of songs that have been requested by the fans for years."

In an interview with USAToday, band member Sixx, 65 further elaborated on the residency, detailing the band's partnership with the charity 'Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth', which will receive part of the proceeds from the residency:

"We’re all parents and none of us can imagine seeing kids in that situation. We’ve always had a soft spot for young fans and in the old days I’d go to the office and take a Hefty bag of letters to my house and I’d take a month and go through them. These kids would share their deepest secrets."

The singer continued:

"If there was a self-addressed envelope, I’d put a letter or a guitar pick in there and send it back to them. … We’re so grateful to be here after 44 years. We have a wide fan base thanks to (the biopic “The Dirt”) and it’s been such a trip to keep making music and seeing where this crazy train called Mötley Crüe is heading next."

Mötley Crüe released their first new single, Dogs of War, in April 2024. The band also covered the 1986 Beastie Boys single (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party).
